Can't see, what do they mean as "evacuation". To the lunar base? To the lunar orbit? To the lunar Earth?

Medevac for injured astronauts doing EVA to the Lunar Base for the Artemis III. :)

So, the heresy with "suitports" (very intriguing to be used by the injured) is suddenly replaced with medevac requests...

They should be reading the KSP forum more attentivly, at least I have raised these questions years ago, lol.

Suit ports is still have benefit, you just need options who you want anyway. Just an damage to the seal in suit and they don't work.
Here using an suit port

And an normal hatch. I assume to the same airlock at the suit port is in.

P.S.
A less dramatic.

How to wash it?

Normally, the legs and arms are detachable.

Or at least, you have the whole suit inside a room and can easily access it from inside through the hatch.

8..12 hours of sweating every EVA session when they are mining.

Point taken but you have other options like an standard hatch who will be needed for larger stuff anyway. On an small pressurized rover you might need to depressurize the crew quarter as its unlikely to have an airlock large enough to carry somebody into but pretty sure it would run on low pressure pure oxygen and if one is left in rover he would be mostly suited up anyway because of this or having to exit to assist.

Now the main thing for safety outside an permanent moon base would be to have an second moonship  ready in moon orbit. I even dock an propellant depot to it so first moonship drains the depot.
Orbital moonship/ gateway station is build for orbital use and might have an orbital module who is dropped in an rescue scenario but as capable as standard moonship in landing on the moon.
This would still be relevant for other landing locations.
Down the line I would want an more lightweight lander for exploration missions, reserving moonship for the heavy duty stuff, an drill rig for samples would be nice.

MechJeb? It's you?

Quote

The AI robot Erbai, which abducted other 12 robots, is developed by a Hangzhou robot manufacturer. Erbai kidnapped other 12 robot at a Shanghai robotics showroom.

Erbai initially asked one of the large robots, “Are you working overtime?”

To which a large robot replies, “I never get off work”.

Then Erbai asked, “So you’re not going home?”

“I don’t have a home,” replied the large robot.

"Then come home with me,” said the AI robot before leading the way out of the showroom.

As two large robots followed Erbai, the other ten robots also started following him as Erbai uttered the command “Go home.”

Looking at my arms and legs, only once I think :o Then realizing you was talking about the space suit limbs
And an fair point, and something who probably make suit ports less useful on an base. Still relevant for an rover or small orbital spaceship. On later you might not even need to undock the suit.

To drive around the base inside the distance of foot walk, you don't need the suitports, only an Apollo-stile buggy.

To have several-day-long trips with camping and studying samples in situ, or for mining, you anyway need a home on wheels, where you can take off the suits and put them back on.
Without a pressurized RV-like rover the suitport would just make any suitport damage fatal for any trip far from base.

Also you anyway have to examine the suits for scratches and holes to avoid the Total Recall scene cosplay, thus they must be taken into a pressurized room.
