HERE WE GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate this game . . .

I was just thinking "perhaps a roll cage around the engine in the front, say maybe put all the parts inside a structural girder...." :)

I'm surprised the little Bugger has the power to climb these mountains.

You may not see it in the pictures, but it's verry steep.

I'm on top of a mayor drop now, I'm going to use the brakes a lot so Edberry might live to see another day... &)

Ah, high-centred like a boss! :D

When you pulled back, I looked at the terrain, I though you should have gone left or right around that hollow rather than through it.

WARNING: This next video is of extremelylely low quality, I can't record in the dark, sorry....

I had a gallery of screenshots that were poor due to darkness.  I decided to improve their look and fiddled with them in Irfanview.

And I have two mods that could have fixed this during the mission: Ambient Light Adjustment (still working despite being a mod for KSP 1.3.0) and Minimum Ambient Lighting.  I'd advise you to try them out for the night videos.

Because fixing the shots after the fact took me more time than flying the mission. :)

There’s a reason all my long-range rovers are designed for crash-tolerance and self-recovery. It’s not a matter of if you crash, but when. The 0.625 MH structural panels are a game-changer.

Redundancy helps as well. I’ve had rovers complete missions with half the parts torn off, and they’re still capable of driving. If you build with the expectation that your rover is going to be peeled like an onion, you’ll get much farther between having to run full replacement missions.

Nice observation, I gave myself the option to choose between two routes:

I've never posted this screenshot, I make so many and most I don't use... ^_^

I've choosen the orange route btw.

DAY 11, CHECKPOINT 29

It's 51 km from cp28 instead of 50 km, I couldn't stop on the hill...

If you think it's only 60 km to the bridge, watch this terrain....

It's horrible out here, up down up down down up up down . . .

But we have good news, we can see the bridge.

We also have some bad news . . .

KEFzlPb.png

Fnr1IyL.png

We lost 2 fuelcells and the wheels, well . . .

Reloading the Bugger fixed our wheel problem, we will fly in some fuellcels when we reach the bridge.

Dude, it looks like you're always going down deep into hollows.  Is this contributing to your crashing?

Even when driving recce or tank, when I didn't want to skyline and would keep off the ridges, there was also "Tanks don't go where the green grass grow."  As in green grass at the lowest points. :)
