Game crashes in VAB randomly

I have tried removing all my mods and it still does it.

Currently only using KIS and KAS, I suspected it was KAS since its not updated for new version. After removing all mods I still have the problem. Any ideas?

When removing your mods, you may have missed something.  Go back and check.  If it's completely clean, we'll need the output log file, which can be found here:

Update KIS, version 1.17 had a bug which was causing a Crash To Desktop.  you want to be using 1.18
