Mod Post Approval

How long does it usually take for mods to approve posts for newbies? Should I message a mod to ask them to approve my post?

We do them in batches several times per day. It's not on a regular schedule, and no, you don't need to message us about it.

Although, aside from your first 5 posts, post counts really don't count for anything, nor do they mean anything.
