That is why you always make a backup of the original before messing with stuff.  ;)

Or, better yet, use a MM patch.

Never a bad idea to have a "pure stock" copy of the GameData folder as well.

I was messing around and messed up the gimbal range and I don't know how to exactly did it.

By the way-- as @Geonovast suggests above, the safe thing to do when you're tinkering with properties is to use a MM patch, which is "safe" because it doesn't tinker with your original game files.  (It's also more maintenance-friendly, because it won't get wiped out every time you update KSP.)

That said, though, if you ever do get into a situation where your game files are corrupted in some way and you want to refresh them to their pristine state, there are generally ways to do that, depending on how you bought the game.

For example, if you bought it through Steam, you can just right-click on KSP, choose "Properties", and then go to the "LOCAL FILES" tab.  There's a button there, "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"; if you click it, Steam will contact its server and compare the versions of the "official" files with your local copy, and if it finds anything different, it refreshes your local copy.  So that's a very handy way to quickly repair your copy of the game.

If you got it some other way than Steam, I'm guessing there's a way to refresh it through whichever platform you used, but I don't know the details of any other platforms so couldn't advise you, there.

From the KSP store, you are probably limited to downloading a fresh copy and extracting form the .zip file(unless you held on to your old .zip file like I generally do, then you can skip the download step)
