Docking target symbol

I have been building a station and docking everything manually, hence the target symbol (or actually the distance value that goes along with it) is pretty important. And for reasons I haven't figured out, it's there sometimes, and sometimes when I target a docking port I don't get the on-screen symbol, although the docking port is targeted correctly and all else is fine.

I don't see a key for turning this off and on, but I have a new kitten who is constantly walking back and forth on the keyboard, and discovering all sorts of KSP keyboard inputs I never knew about. I still haven't figured out how she totally exited the game straight from the VAB.

Alt + F4 - if you're using Windows.

Ah thanks, been forever since I tried alt-F4 on anything. I guess that's the boss/wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend Emergency Eject sequence.

No that's alt-tab, to something that looks boring yet productive. For KSP, Alt-F4 is many people's (including my) preferred method of exiting the game merely because telling the game I want to quit 4 times, each time waiting for a screen to load, is annoying after 6 years.

And your cat seems to really like F4.

Actually favorites are turning on the temp overlay and aerodynamic stresses, temperature gauges, and of course staging the SRBs while they're still burning. Lots of kitten giggles with those.
