Grigetio
Giving this a try with EVE+AVP+Scatterer.
Andi K.
Extrasolar has yet to become compatible with AVP as well as Spectra, but I will be working on compatibility. It should be a matter of just a handful of config files. Extrasolar is compatible with SVE however.
electricpants
wow, i wasn't expecting extrasolar to get updated again! i gotta check this new version out now!
Grigetio
Good to know. I'm still flying around in the atmosphere for this save, and my clouds are still there. So it didn't break anything I can see, which is all I care about for now. It will be a while before I get there. Does it play nice with Research Bodies? Space Nerd
Yay it's back! Any recommended mods for getting to Valentine?

Stone Blue
So this pack no longer has any dependencies? Specifically kopernicus? vOv

electricpants
wait i've always thought lomina was more the mass of uranus or neptune why is it 5 times the mass of jool (jool is around 4e+24 kg and lomina is about 2e+25 kg)? has it always been like that?? Lomina has always been like that. Lomina is basically if Neptune was the size of jupiter. Because Ice Giants are more dense, it means Lomina has a much greater mass than Jool despite having only a marginally larger radius. I mean, it isn't too complicated for me, but I find that quite a few people tend to get confused and overwhelmed by KSPIE Edited October 11, 2019 by AndrewDraws
panarchist
Glad to see this back. Did Valentine's orbit change? It looks a lot more elliptical. I might need to move it in my install (I am using JNSQ) since the periapsis is so close to the outer planets in JNSQ.

I might need to move it in my install (I am using JNSQ) since the periapsis is so close to the outer planets in JNSQ. Valentine's orbit did indeed change to reflect a slightly more realistic binary star orbit (most binary stars orbit each other rather elliptically). I'm assuming the reason why Valentine's periapsis is so close to the outer planets in JNSQ is because JNSQ is scaled up quite a bit but Extrasolar is not. However, I will create compatibility with JNSQ in the future.

However, I will create compatibility with JNSQ in the future. Also, the Argument of Periapsis on both systems is such that the apoapsis of JNSQ is really close to the periapsis of Extrasolar. I look forward to the eventual compatibility patch but for now I'll just use it in my "stock Kerbin" install. I used to have Extrasolar set up along with Outer Planets Mod and Other Worlds all in the same instance (and once with GPP Secondary) - honestly, I love that so many Kopernicus-reliant mods can work so well together. Plus every release you've done of this mod has greatly improved it - it's always great to see the progression, and always a new exploration opportunity. The-Doctor
One thing I LOVED about this was the feeling of absolute discovery when I landed on those planets for the first time, the sheer wonder at seeing strange new landscapes

wkwied
Wow I was devastated when I saw this was taken down. Now I'm glad it is back! ...and I'm still playing around in LKO with KSPIE trying to make a super ship that can do everything..
