dendane Posted October 4, 2012 Share Posted October 4, 2012 I believe the existing design probably has enough delta-v to get to Laythe, I would simply add a couple Mk16 parachutes attached to the chassis/wheels part, one on either side.Attaching the parachutes to the cockpit/freight/descent stage would risk ripping them off the rover when they deploy.http://i.imgur.com/9E0hZ.pngLands perfectly on every planet, just can't seem to find a good way to get it into orbit around Kerbin (besides changing the persistence file). View of empty seats are not very good, so transparent glasses will not. drippygoo Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 Greetings.I downloaded this mod and followed the directions (parts in parts, plugins in plugins) but when I fire up KSP .17 and go to build a new ship, I do not see this awesome truck anywhere to add to a stage.I see the capsule, looks like the front end but bigger. I also see the extra fuel tank.But, on the extra plus their pages, I do not see the truck to add.Would you have an idea to what I might be doing wrong?I do have the cart mod installed, could that be an issue? Good lord i feel stupid now.I'm used to skipping readmes or manuals that comes with mods because they always include stuff like how to install, and really basic stuff.I suppose i really should quit with that habitOh, by the way, is there any possibility for a high res version of the interior? Using the hatch as a jack to flip over an upside down rover, or performing the front flip over obstacles would not be obvious to everyone. BTW, after the first time you perform a forward flip, you'll never go back to driving around an obstacle....it addictive. We may do a hi res version, but it won't happen tomorrow. I wanted thrusters to over top obstacles or to use suborbital flights to speed recon. The current engine configuration was my call because four nozzles presents a more stable looking configuration. Although, in reality, there are actually only two thrust centers rather then the four that are animated. The four effects animations are just that, animation effects to present a more believable flight configuration.Glad you are enjoying the mod.
