Is it possible to get a refund

Recommended Posts

I bought the game over steam and I simply just don't like it. For me, it violates all my expectations for a smooth UX (User Experience) with an effective UI (User Interface). There are too many restarts required because the Z key or space-bar does not work as published. There is no reason, after a relaunch, all else being equal, they then work. That is just too much time to repeat something that should have worked the first time.

I can enumerate all the violation of good HMI (Human-Machine_Interface) design, but that would do nothing, as I am sure the developers are busy working KSP2 for all those players that just don't mind getting by with the design they have.

I appreciate your time to consider this request.

Thank you.

a) It's really the vendor you need to ask for a refund.

b) KSP 2 is developed by a whole different company.

c) As far as I remember the only times people have problems with the spacebar is when they either built their rocket the wrong way around or when they didn't get the difference between SRBs and liquid fuel engines.

This is certainly not for everyone. Having said that, I was, believe it or not, forced to learn the game. I got shoulder tapped to run a program for kids using KSP. I had not played computer games for years and had zero interest, but I had to learn it to run the program.  I wanted to be reading a book or be kayaking.  But, it was a good opportunity and the person who asked is someone who has supported me a lot at work. Hours into tutorials I was just annoyed.

That was 1500+ hours ago in my KSP life.

It does, however, eat too much into my book and other life time.

BTW: KSP is a bit clunky in places, but if you know the history or how it was developed and who developed it, it makes sense.  KSP2 should fix a lot of those issues that are unfortunately baked into the original. Despite all that, it is really a fantastic game that engages you creatively. There is just nothing else like it.

Also, the community is friendly and the forum is very well-moderated.  This is one of the ONLY internet forums I am on.

This is the first occurrence I've ever heard of this.   Perhaps if you posted up some of the log files we could help diagnose the issue.
