WANTED suggestions for part mod creation

Hello everybody!

I don't know why, but I am in the mood of learning how to create part mods. However, i don't have any ideas as to what to build or create? DO any of you have any ideas for parts to create?

There are not enough landing legs in the game the squad ones are dated  and not aesthetically pleasing if you look at the OLD  AIES mod it had some of the best looking landing legs around  or look at the Aset landing legs which are awesome

If you haven't made parts before I would suggest you start with something simple like a fuel tank - just to learn the tools and the flow. You might also ask yourself what part you would like in game - say a 1.25m to 2.5m adapter with fuel - something you yourself will use.

I miss VTOL parts a lot! So, to be precise, the rotating parts that can handle huge engine clusters.

A large [massive] arcology type part.  Possibly a cylinder on a planet.  Heavy.  With stablalising legs to keep it level.  With an attachment node for a waiting room for kerbals to get in and out.

More like a pancake.  But a variation could be an orbital version.

Who's to say it isn't built it the bedrock and goes DOWN.

A set of modular parts for large ring stations.  (Should be able to fit 3.5 fuel tanks into the ring, for instance.)

It would be nice to have HUGE lifter engines. For example, a single-nozzle 3.75 engine, a 5 meter engine, and a 7 meter engine, plus some shiny fuel tanks to go with it.

That is a bold move! Probably you will have 100 parts or ideas

There are many parts very useful to have but, very often I think to self why they don't exist...:

• Interstellar Shields to be used in the front of an interstellar ship (can be fiscal or work as a magnetic bubble of 250m, 500m and 1000m of diameter)
• Ropes like KAS but which never unlock form a Kerman astronaut like 50m, 100m and 200m
• LARGE Ring parts to be used also for BIG interstellar ships (50m diameter)
• More ladders BIG ladders... 10m, 20m and 30m
• Lifters from those to be used with SpaceX Starship for example, also 10m, 20m and 30m
