LOST... Old concepts to project never going off paper

Apparently they wanted to give the service module robotic arms, and they would genuinely have acted somewhat like human limbs.

I'm gonna make some obscure references here, but I imagine this is what Apollo looks like in the Monument Mythos/Mystery Flesh Pit universe (if you do decided to look them up, do it during the daytime).

More on the arms here:

I was hoping for some radiation-related "camera interference" to highlight just how bad it would be to sit between three hot NTRs...

Not old, but... well...

Hanhwa Ghost Commander

The Russian source covering MADEX2023 has already given it the "Best Anime Paper Project" award.

First reaction, why the raised landing strip?  The lift for it is to small for the stealth bomber currently landed and why put it at the rear? plane has to move back before getting lowered and other planes can land.
The only benefit of it is a bit more room for airplanes below.
Then looking at the web site, an miniature 10.000 ton carrier for UAV, not an stupid idea but unmanned carrier? Of all the warships you could make unmanned an carrier is far the worse by orders of magnitude.
You need to reload, refuel and maintain the UAV for one and have fun doing that with with robots. Add maintenance of the ship and damage control.
Unmanned command ship makes even less sense.
Kind of like the trimaran design with hangar deck over all the width.

Only I doubt the stability of a design woth so much internal volume above the waterline.

This is literally the design of the helicarrier from the first Avengers movie.

The flared bottom allows for engines arund the crew/cargo pod, which can be left on site. The new BO lander would ideally evolve that way, IMO

I miss you 90's/2000's concept art.

That first one kinda reminds me of the adapter NASA attached to Mir. Also are these meant to be parts of larger stations or independent orbital labs?

I'm definitely not asking because I have ideas ;).

Top one reminds me of the Apollo / Soyuz interface.
Second looks like an kind of miniature  single use space station, But why break it up in two parts? one pressure hull would be more efficient and lighter.

So about like 10 minutes ago I fell down a rabbit hole involving NASA artist Pat Rawlings's website.

http://www.patrawlings.com/default.cfm

The amount of stuff there is amazing! Dual Keel Freedom, Eagle Engineering Lunar Lander and more.

Too bad I don't have enough time right now to look at all of this.

Ah yes, the ultimate KSP technique: concept rabbit holes!
