Custom LEGO Apollo Minifigure

I was looking through my phone a few days ago, when I found a picture of something I made about 2 years ago. It was shortly after Christmas, when I got the Apollo 11 Lunar Lander. I had several parts around, and I recreated the A7L suit. Here it is!

Have you tried using a 2x3 piece on the back only? I'm rather curious as to how it'd look!

Regardless, I love the simplicity and the general downsize from the original minifig. I'm definitely going to try this with my LEM set!

@AtomicTech it looks like the backpack is a 1x2, a 2x3 and a tile 2x4. Im wondering if he didnt have a tiled 2x3 in white and needed that 1x2 to even out the 2x4 tile? But im just speculating on the parts used

If you look closely, actually, you’ll see that there is a 2x3 flat piece, with a little 2x1 below, both connected by a 2x4 smooth flat piece. The original design was supposed to only have 2x3, but I couldn’t find a smooth flat piece that was white to fit that. I always have thought the PLSS was janky too. I’m still proud of how this turned out, though.

Gotcha! I did notice it; I was just curious to see if you had it with a flat 2x3
