KSP Version: 0.1.1.0.21572

Operating System and version: Windows 11

CPU and GPU models, any other system information which could be relevant: RTX 3070, i9-12900k

Description of the bug.: Sun goes dark when you zoom into Gilly, Duna, Laythe, etc. (I didn't try all planets, sun seems to be fine when viewing Kerbin, Eve, and Moho for example)

Expected Behavior: Sun should continue shining (fingers crossed)

Steps to Replicate: Go to Gilly/Duna/Laythe/etc in the tracking station and zoom in

A list of ALL mods: None

OS: Win10 | CPU: i7-10700K | GPU: RTX2060 | RAM32GB

This was happening since 0.1.0 I believe.
Additional thing, that the sun sphere isn't rendered in flight view until very close, that looks bad.

Video Evidence:

Hey. Was that 0.1.3.1 or 0.1.3.2?

I experience this very frequently, the sun (or Kerbol ) disappears before the silhouette of the planet in focus even overlaps its light. It looks like a mask was applied around each planet, to hide the sun's light source, but for Gilly/Duna/Laythe and Minmus it seems that this "mask" is too big, so the sun is hidden when it should not.

Might be fixed, didn't test in 0.1.5.0, but kerbol turns black when you zoom in the map view

While I was orbiting Kerbin today, I noticed that the Sun was turning black and disappearing, along with some of the planets' orbit lines, when I zoomed in close to my ship in map view.

1. Far away, the sun and orbits are all there:

2. This is the distance at which the sun first turned black. Jool's, and I think Eeloo's orbit lines have disappeared:

3. Even closer in, all the planets' orbit lines are gone:

Depending on the zoom level the player-camera is around Minmus (at least) the sun goes out.

Far zoom:
