Love the improvements to the fairings  but I think there could still use some ironing out.

I'm having issues where I don't even see mine. I'll have to look for UI element. Though I'm not sure what the fascination is with making such small elements to do such important tasks... I know I'm not getting THAT old that I should need coke bottle glasses to see the UI...

So I was building a fairing and I noticed the UI for adding a new part to the fairing is overlapped with the other UIs. I have circled what I am trying to show. I made sure to restart the game and tried a new campaign but same issue happened.

While trying to deconstruct the fairing steps to rebuild its shape, I ran into problems with the minus step button. It didn't deconstruct the fairing down a level like it should and it also covers the confirm or cancel buttons underneath. Then I tried to delete the fairing but I could not drag it while being edited.

Can you submit another bug report for that? It could get hidden within this one and just the overlapping aspect could be noted.

I love the newer fairing editor, but is it supposed to be clustered together as seen here? I am having a bit of a harder time trying to accept or decline the fairing with the 'add new section' option being on top of both.

Had the same problem. Also for some reason the first fairing I did make did not show any buttons at all. I could not edit anything anymore because I was in "fairing editing mode" and I had to go back to the KSC overview and back to VAB and then edit the fairing to actually see the buttons.

I'm also experiencing the overlap of graphic icons.

Would love to see the fairings not rely on clicking the arrows for direction.  Or clicking an icon to start a new section.  This makes building the fairing such a needless pain.  Building the fairing should follow the mouse movement, left right up down , left click to start next section, right click to remove.

Your done in 15 seconds or so   https://vimeo.com/840669794?share=copy

As opposed to 3 + minutes    https://vimeo.com/840671026?share=copy

The programming philosophy of  "old way Bad"  "new way Good" is sad to see.  No matter how really really bad the new way actually is.  This has been observed  in several things with KSP 2.  But the fairings is a real obvious one.
