Hello, world KSP Forums!

I picked up KSP1 back in March and have been enthralled ever since. I still consider myself fairly new to the game (though I've probably amassed around 3-400 hours of actual gameplay), but it's been fun learning all the ins and outs of not exploding. Being something of a masochist, I'm also experimenting with various mods that add new layers of complexity to the game, including life support and a larger-scale stock system. Eventually, I hope to make some original mods as well, but I still have a lot to learn first.

KSP is only the latest addition to my game library; I've been playing various games for most of my life at this point. SimCity 2000 was probably my gateway drug, and I spent a great deal of time with some of its successors as well, including community involvement and modding. My game interests mostly skew toward similar creative ventures, with some dabbling in RTS as well.

That's probably enough of an introduction for now. Feel free to ask if you want to know anything else.

From a masochist to another (this is exactly how I begun), my best advice is to choose to start modding with something you enjoy to use and are going to use a lot because the best way of learning is being bitten by your own mistakes early (and, boy, mistakes will be made! :D ).

Depending on what you are intending to do, it may worth tinker a bit with something old as KSP 1.3.1 or even 1.2.2, when things were simpler, and then rewrite to 1.12.5 where things are way more complex and prone to fail. Starting with 1.12.5 may be a multipe front battle...

Cheers and happy self-inflicting pain modding! :sticktongue:

What stuff have you done in KSP? Like what missions have you pulled off? it’s always fun to know
