i dont know if this is the right place for this. but here goes

so if im honest, i like the chromebook, not for its power, or its speed (i think its very good on both those, but because of its strength. my last laptop (a 5500 intel gpu?) broke when it fell out of my bag in the trunk of my car, (hinge broke) but i have dropped this from higher (rolled off my bed, etc, etc), with no scratches or dents, i will not be suprised if you could shoot this thing with a gun, and nothing happens (like one of those big ones). and with its high screen resolution, and its power (for a chromebook) i give it a...

9/10

only problem is that its a laptop, that runs phone games (phones are way weaker), does not do the best as it doesnt respond with the mouse, and other keyboard and mouse issues.

if this has convinced you, go ahead, get it
(it also comes with a feature to monitor it, for the little ones).

i think the usage of the word “book” is to signify education and also “paper thin”. or to signify that this thing literally has the technology of a book.

Can it run KSP1 with E.V.E., Scatterer, Parallax, AVP, RSS/RO, PlanetShine and Post-processing? No? Then its a 0/10

all laptops are fragile self destructing pre-emptively generated e-waste. last laptop i had got replaced by a superior desktop as soon as i had the funds, then it lived on the night stand for 6 months, as an alarm clock. one day, about a week after the warranty expired, it wouldn't boot. i guess asking it to keep time was too much for it. if this were a desktop pc id be changing the power supply or swapping the mobo, or reading out post codes. but since it was a laptop it just got chucked in the salvage pile. laptop repair is possible, to a degree, but the success rate kind of sucks. anything wrong with the mobo, or anything not behind an access panel, is major surgery. and that's assuming it was designed to be non-destructively dismantled in the first place.

There's a billion chromebooks out there so I don't know which one you are talking about. it's like titling a review of a smartphone "honest review of google's android phone"
It would be amusing to see a cheap school chromebook run KSP but I'm not sure how playable it would be. SFS is a phone game so if you can't run KSP then try that I guess.

I'm pretty sure Chromebooks run on Linux so I think it would actually be possible to run KSP on them. I just remembered this thread below so I would like to link to it

Wow, you have a good chromebook? I have one and it runs stuff TERRIBLY. I guess that also depends on how much space is in it, and I have had it for a few years now and had to share it with my siblings before I went to college. Thankfully, I'm saving up for a decent gaming pc now, so this problem will go away (hopefully) soon.
