Lisias
I found this video today on reddit, and I remember it from way behind before I even started to play KSP. But I didn't found a place to post it, so I created this thread! Anyone else also have "classic" videos, slideshows, remarkable screenshots et all to share? Kerbalsaurus
Here's a really old one, from long before even 1.0.
magnemoe
For me its this. Firebird 1 @ hardbrake. I learned how to fuel up at Minmus and drop down to LKO for the injection burn. Very effective but its very easy to go to fast, here I hit Duna atmosphere at 3.8 km/s, image is at max Q. I knew this would be an problem and did multiple simulated runs, and had to modify the base to even out the drag as at 8 g even tiny drags matter. Took some days. Later simulations show that this would not work at Laythe as its gravity would get you up to velocities who would just pop heat shields. I'm a bit late posting this, but... eh. This guy is great - I lost the count of how many times I had watched their videos... again! On a side note, it's a pity what Youtube's compression is doing with his videos - I wish we could watch them on some other platform with a less aggressive codec... On another side note, I'm wondering if - under the right management, of course - the Kerbals could not spin off some animation series on TV (I'm pretty sure someday I will have to explain to the young what's a TV...) or something? Animation series/movies/etc are considered high risk/insufficient gain by most of the Game Industry, but since the Game Industry itself is getting royally screwed lately, perhaps such gains would not be considered insufficient anymore? === == = POST EDIT = == === Better not... https://www.ign.com/articles/take-two-ceo-responds-to-borderlands-movies-poor-reviews-give-the-film-a-chance I enjoyed the Trailer, liked the terribly politically incorrect gags. Perhaps it would not be a new Guardians of the Galaxy, but yet... Edited August 9, 2024 by Lisias :/
