so I tried using this mod with a brand new installation and only the dependencies installed and still have the problem of the black screen with the loading icon in the corner :( stinks cause this mod looks so freakin cool

There must be an installation issue, can you join the discord and file a bugreport? We will need context.

NullReference caused by a star. I need way more context to figure this out. Just dropping a snippet of logs without any additional information isn't fair, there's no way for me to pinpoint the issue like that.

Keep in mind, KSS2 runs perfectly fine without errors. If you're encountering issues, something on your end is causing them.

We handle support and bug reports on Discord. If you believe you've found a legitimate bug, please file a report there with all relevant details.

Just as a follow up to the Parallax discussion, if a have a different Parallax config that only uses the stock scatters contained within Parallax, with this systems Parallax configs play nice, or can I only have one installed at a time? I'm only just getting into Parallax now and I'm not very familiar with it yet!

KSS2 currently supports Parallax 2, and I’ve made sure that by the next update, there won’t be any issues with Parallax Continued. You can have a different Parallax config that only uses the stock scatters from Parallax without conflicting with KSS2’s configs. However, we’re also working on dedicated configs for Parallax Continued, which should be ready by the time it becomes freely available. In general, there shouldn’t be any game-breaking issues.

Unless you have something orbiting where Nova Kirbani would, no.

Indeed, as posted above, unless you have something orbiting where Nova Kirbani would be (which is far enough, trust me).

Wait, is Nova Kirbani already in the mod?

should I copy paste the entire log on here? I figured that wouldn't be allowed under a discussion. thanks for trying to help anyways.

This may be a dumb question but could my virus protection software be the culprit?

Join our Discord and we'll look at it. But we need a full bugreport.

Oh, sorry. Turns out I misread the answer to the initial question.   Thought it said someting along the lines of: 'Unless they have craft orbiting Nova Kirbani, no.

Nice, I was worried I'd have to wait as I didn't want to start a playthrough only to lose it if I wanted to add the new system.
