Thanks for mentioning this! I've loved SCANsat for a decade now, but playing the KSP2 "For Science" mode really made me want to streamline things a bit in my current KSP1 career playthrough. This looks perfect.

I really love Snacks.  With the Air and Stress optional extensions turned on, it really affects how I plan missions beyond just "throw more life support parts on."  I especially like that considering Kerbals getting Stressed has me designing ways to send more living space on longer missions. Snacks with the optional extras really hits the sweet spot for me.

Techo's (Stock) Planet Revamp is definitely worth a look. It's an in-development remastering of the stock system and it's fantastic, just hope it gets finished.

I have doubts about stockalike and other mods; CKAN doesn't allow me to install it as it is not compatible with the current version of KSP.

Is there a replacement? Are you doing the installation in another way?

In CKAN, go to Settings -> Compatible Game Versions

Click that, and it'll bring up a new window with a bunch of checkboxes for different game versions. Check off every box until (and including) 1.8
