Staff Missing - Game not updating

Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes 
OS: Windows 11 | CPU: Intel i7 | GPU: RTX 1080 | RAM: 10 GB

 

Severity: Very high

Frequency: All the time

Issue:

Pretty sure this might be an issue in the code but it seems that a lot of devs have been missing from the game and now it isn’t updating properly.

Steps to replicate:

1. Be Take 2

2. See KSP 2 isn’t making as much money as it should.

3. Layoff 70 workers in Seattle which just happens to be where IG is located

4. Vaguely say that the game will still be supported and updated.

5. Make the community really mad.

Evidence:

There are a couple of pieces of evidence wavering to both sides, indicating the bug is maybe present but also possibly patchable. The links provided is what I can find on the matter:

Conclusion:

If this bug is patchable, I would appreciate it be fixed soon. This has been driving me crazy for a couple of days now and is most definitely game breaking.

I too have encountered this particularly nasty bug... so severe it's caused me to revert to KSP 1 [+mods] for the time-being.
