lucidLemon
Thanks!I have plans to put it on the Mun. It shouldn't actually be too hard, given that the center of mass is pretty inline with the attachment node on the command pod. You saw the farthest shot so far right there. I'm sure more tweaking could let it pass 700 meters. It's not particularly accurate, you might be able to fling a kerbal into an appropriately placed castle though. Bekiekutmoar
I'm preparing to finish the current space program as version 0.21 approaches:The mission to Duna ends after 379 days with a fiery re-entry in Kerbins atmosphere.Heavy lander enters orbit around Eve to eventually retrieve two Kerbals from the surface. Chance of succes probably lower than 10%.Lander ascents from Moho and has already made a successful rendez-vous with interplanetary transfer vessel. That transfer ship is however low on fuel and cannot return to Kerbin ATM ... !
ShroomOfDoom
Finally finished the second station. It's nothing special, just wanted to see if i could realize a design idea that i came up with.

oberlerchner123
I think this is probably my favorite screenie from my visit to Laythe. It's just after I got the plane part back into orbit and docked it to the interplanetary drive section:This is a bit earlier with Jeb posing next to the landed plane and the flag he planted:
Echostatic
Messing with drop tanks, just for fun.Don't forget your launch clamps! It actually flies. At full thrust, each tank empties in 5.3 seconds I got it into orbit on the last flight, this one was straight up and down. It coincidentially grazed the Mun's SOI just before coming back down.Coming back down very *quickly*. Anton P. Nym
Hi! New guy, came in with the Steam sale; I've been interested in rocketry since infancy (I'm barely too young to remember Apollo) but it took me a while to get on board the KSP train. Wish I'd found this forum earlier; that'd probably would've made my early landing attempts a lot easier. Most recently I've been messing with Nyrath's "Orion" mod with highly photogenic results:I will probably post more later... apologies in advance. -- Steve

Deadweasel
Actually, those solar panels are stock. It's the small ones made into a really cool shape.Oh, wow! That is an incredibly creative layout for them. I had no idea they could be made to look like that! Very, nice work in that case, certainly fooled me! GusTurbo
The basic concept is that you take the small solar panels and put them in 8x symmetry, then rotate it 90 degrees. That creates the octagon pattern, but the lines around the edges show. To get the seamless look, you just hold shift and rotate the panel so the octagon is concave. This was my inspiration:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/34125-Rocket-Builders-OKB-1-Russian-Rocket-Design-Firm-and-Repository?p=498799&viewfull=1#post498799
