GDJ
3200 metres AGL. Good for taking nice pics! How did I get there? Sheer brute Horsepower, baby! 32 Aerospikes is kinda pretty to look at really! *Note: No kerbals died during this flight. The engines got hot, but stayed right where you see the temp warning thru the flight.* Edited September 7, 2013 by GDJ

Kerbal01
Hey Astropapi1, can I have the LADEE .craft? Did you make a Minotaur V to launch it.?
astropapi1
Hey Astropapi1, can I have the LADEE .craft? Did you make a Minotaur V to launch it.?Unfortunately, the satellite alone uses like 5 mods and resizes. Just from the top of my head, I remember:Engineer, MJ (a special Bill9000 part), a resized tank (made by me), and two of the RCS ports from RLA Stockalike. That's the problem with mods. But I can get more close-up pics if you want.

KAO
new munar base with Ioncross, now I have oxygen to worry about. Bill and Bob just arrived.hooking everything up with KASUNFORTUNATELY I neglected to put lights on the base components, so it's pretty dark. I give you the finest in kerbal engineering, built completely on the pad by Jeb, parts moved around with Kerbal Attachment System
Sylon00
I technically didn't make the map itself, but I did use the mapping in Scott Manley's video and created this single map to help folks find some of the easter eggs on Mün. These are the big ones anyway, I'm sure there are more now. Still, I hope it can help someone. I think it helps me for finding some of these things.Video I got this from: Edited September 7, 2013 by Sylon00

Sylon00
"Steve".You've got to be kidding me. I'm sorry, I was right in the middle of another Mun landing (that again didn't go well). I have no idea where the name Steve came from, lol.Speaking of, here's the ship sometime before it went bouncing off the Mun's surface, again. It's the Kerbal X preloaded ship, I just added lights and solar arrays. I still ran out of fuel, again. Now I have to change my death count
astropapi1
The Kerbal X doesn't have enough DV for a mun landing. Try going to Minmus, you might make it.
el_coyoto
Lookit this little gem!Aaawww, so cute!Picture of a SSTO prototype during docking tests, showing the experimental Air Breathing Unit for Stratospheric Excursions intake :This test revealed that our engineers forgot a RCS set on the rear of the ship, making translations so unbalanced that it was impossible to dock manually. kodemunkey
Are there any tutorials for KAS? With my picture, each scanned ore hex had a minimum value of 7 million ore, with a maximum value of 34 million ore.
KAO
interplanetary ship designed for trips to Jool, crew just arrivedthe ol' Laythe Direct approach, didn't even aerobrake at Jool for this, which made it really tricky. Periapsis had to be at 18.7km perfectly or I would risk flying smack into Jool or crash landing on the moon itself.Vall is visible in the horizonwell I achieved an orbit, but unfortunately due to the clipped nature of the engine block, it started bucking like a bull and the ship became totally unusable. I evacuated all kerbals to the Soyuz.they wouldn't survive very long in that thing, so their only hope was to make a landing on the planet and hope for edible vegetationdammit
SuperBigD60
Once I got B9 installed, making Space planes got somewhat trivial, especially with the Sabre engines. So now those are the only sorts of launch vehicles I like to send my things up to LKO .This one is called the Oscarfish. It can just take a 40 ton payload with it. If I stall it out on reentry, it prefers to fly backwards, and as this album shows, that required an unplanned miraculous splashdown.Javascript is disabled.
