Reporting in for 2014!

First, I'd like to share some non-game images, if you'll oblige me.

In late december, I served as a small group leader at a christian youth camp, had an awesome time, but couldn't help noticing the kerbal head things on the side of the building I was sleeping in.

After the new year passed, I went straight on to a beach holiday on the south coast. Some clear nights gave me a chance to do some things with my new camera.

That streak's the ISS passing over, seen near Ulladulla, NSW.

Now, to buisness!

Have some strange goings on in the VAB.

It just wouldn't stop growing for some reason.

Here's a task almost complete:

And a happy kerbal.

That's looking pretty cool!

BTW, you can edit posts to ad more afterwards by pressing the little edit button down the bottom.

Newly-appointed mod going out of their way to impose their own idea of order, maybe?

What I want to know is why isn't there some kind of standard or defaulting rule that says any thread over a certain age or so many posts remains where it is, or something like that? Who cares if it's not exactly in the right place, according to one or two individuals?

Whatever the reason, if hundreds or even thousands of users are flocking to a thread where it is, it's pretty bad form to just shift the whole thing without even slipping a post into the thread about it.

I started a "Scott-Manley-like" Interstellar Career earlier this week, and today I finally unlocked the first solar panel in the tech tree, so I meticulously put together my first viable comsat, the Scrameustache, making sure it would have enough batteries to function at 100% power all day, everyday, even during orbital nights. After a failed first launch (forgot to deploy the antenna before KSC went below the horizon), the second try went wonderfully, and I brought my satellite into a picture-perfect 1000x1000km orbit!...

...and that's when I remembered that solar panels produce waste heat in KSP Interstellar. Without radiators, my first sat is doomed.

Oh well, I'll call Jeb and tell him that the Mun- and Minmus-flyby missions have been preponed... we need the !!SCIENCE!! to unlock the radiators!
