Pudgemountain
While waiting for the Bacchus 2 pictures to arrive at Kerbin, I decided to do a sequel of the first pic I posted of Gemini and Salyut. June 8, 1978: As a last attempt to rescue Skylab NASA asked the USSR to use one of their Soyuz craft to dock and raise Skylab to a safe orbit. The USSR agreed on the condition that NASA has to use their budget to build the Soyuz rocket, it was hard but they had to agree. July 1, 1979: The modified Soyuz with 2 Cosmonaut pilots and 2 American Engineers was launched. July 2nd: Soyuz has rendezvoused with Skylab. ....And we have contact! The crew has started on repairs. July 5th: After the repairs were done the Cosmonauts raised Skylab to a safe stable orbit and then the crew decided to relax and have a nice cold drink. Pudgemountain
The images from Bacchus 2 arrived (Finally had time to do a Jool system mission) and with the Atomic engine it had enough Delta V to take pictures and scans of the other Moons. Spoiler Jool without a satellite dish blocking the view. Bonus of Laythe's Shadow hitting Jool. Vall. Tylo, Sorry it was too dark for a encounter photo. Bop (Found out you can zoom the Hullcams with the scroll wheel when i took this.) Pol. After Bacchus 2 completed it's mission of scanning the Joolian System it was intentionally hurled into Jool because of fears that bacteria could contaminate the Moons. Mr. Sandman
Photo of the Ares I rocket on the launchpad at sunset. My Mars landing plans are almost done, but I ran into some problems: I've to land two 70 tons payload on Mars and the only way to do so is by sky gliding in the Martian atmosphere. Yes, skygliding a 70 tons vehicle in a 100x (~600 Pascals , vs our 1.013 x 10^5 Pascals) thinner atmosphere. Any suggestions?

Go for the upper hemisphere of Mars to land, where there are no craters. You got more atmosphere to work with there.
Mr. Sandman
So yeah , I did it!Today I tested a new way to sky glide on Mars and it worked flawlessy! That is a 70 tons payload slowing down in the thin martian atmosphere. The payload is the MAV (Mars Ascent Vehicle, in the picture above) and the MDV (Mars Descent vehicle , to land and use as home for the 200 days stay)
Pudgemountain
Still working on a proper Laythe lander (The first unmanned test crashed into Laythe's ocean) but for now a picture of a Polar landing on the Mun and well those new uniforms are not cheap so we had to cutback on the Lunar program. If too dark to see the flag is the Terran Empire flag.

Pudgemountain
Second Laythe landing attempt turns out the design of the first lander made it impossible for the engines to be on the middle so it would somersault, this lander fixed that but unfortunately it decided to land on the side of a mountain and topple over. Nice shot of Tylo though.

Pudgemountain
The third attempt at an unmanned Laythe landing and I learned from the past two mistakes and the USI Survivability pack helped alot even though it is not updated for 1.3 yet it still works plus the floatation device makes an awesome heatshield Houston we had landed! Mr. Sandman
Preparing myself for the greatest mission I ever done. [Sorry for the big picture spam] This is the Ares V with the MAV as payload. It weights 6000 tons (twice a Saturn V) and can transport 200 tons in LEO.It has a thrust of 84,943.4 kN at sea level. Mr. Sandman
The Mars plan is progressing pretty good.I'm exercising myself on docking the large parts of the Copernicus ship.I'll have to wait to start the mission because my PC has difficulties handling the MAV and MDV(high part count , around 170) Meanwhile.. Kurtvw
Here is a totally useless, but dead sexy little all stock SSTO I made today, just for giggles.. It can transport one Kerbal to space and back, and not an ounce more. Fun little plane with no functional purpose.
Pudgemountain
Testing the launch vehicle for the Joolian rocket. Height: 187.3 Meters or about 614 Feet. Weight: about 82,000 tons. Payload: Orion capsule powered by an Orion Nuclear Pulse unit, Mock Cryo chamber and Mock Lander. Goal Altitude: 850 Km. We have a successful test. purpleivan
A few pics from the early days of my Career Evolution Contract Pack game. 1st rendezvous A strange craft (some might call it an abomination) sent over to the mountains West of the KSC to pick up some much needed science. Jeb hitching a ride on a rover that was sent to the 1st Mun base, after he'd checked out sites of scientific interest. Jeb departing the Mun base leaving one lonely scientist to carry on the important work. Unfortunately the mission planners didn't realise that a science lab requires a command module to function, so some thumb twiddling for this scientist until a new base is sent up. Welcome back Jeb. Pudgemountain
Image dump. Here are some pics of my first manned mission to Jool and landings on both Laythe and Tylo. Spoiler The Chosen Crew. Ready to leave Kerbin. Sometime later. Orbiting Jool with Laythe's shadow. Alexey(I know i typoed when I made him) walking to the lander. Laythe Descent. We have Landed! Valentina exiting out to be the first Kerbal on Laythe. The view is nice. Final picture before departing and I finally have been able to use this flag I made it 3 years ago for when i do get to Laythe. Now the pictures from Tylo. We have landed again! Edward H. Kerman about to be the first on Tylo. Another good view, with Laythe shoehorning itself in. Final picture before heading home. That was fun but it took me over 6 hours in real time to do. Next mission will be another manned mission to Jool but this time landing on Vall, Pol and maybe Bop pending on fuel and monopropellant.
