Brownhair2
Been working on a nuclear thermojet SSTO seaplane for Tidus. Hasn't been going great I'm helpless without my Whiplash + LANTERN combo
specialopsdave
Today, I put a mining base on Minmus, attached extra Ore storage, added a fuel/monoprop tanker (I had to retract the landing legs and mess with RCS to get the docking ports level), and then I added a crew module. It was tedious: My midstage was an orange tank with a NERV; annoying with such big payloads.
Brownhair2
So, after not playing KSP for one week you do not forget everything. You do, however, forget the ascent paths for all of your SSTOs. Luckily I seem to have worked out my issues and have managed to put another Titan into orbit. Now for the next step: send it to Titanus (I've been gone for a week; I gotta make up for lost time)

H3N7Y
Short Version: I blew some crap up like always... and killed Jeb for the 9th time Long Version: I made a really cool Minmus colonization base, threw some Mammoths on it and got it to Minmus. I landed it and it was really cool and had about 200 Kerbals in it! The one flaw in my design; I made the rover garage out of fuel tanks... So I am careening towards my base with a good-ish rover and I was making about 40 m/s and I forgot, 'Hey since Minmus has super lower gravity, I won't much friction for the wheels to stop! So it will take me a long time to brake" (Oh ma glob, I'm so stupid) So I hit the ramp going up, I apply the brakes and I realize ''Poop! I'm gonna die!''. I smash into the fuel tanks, KABLAMO, and everyone dies except for Jeb and the lander 1 Kilometer away. Luckily, I put some Droge and Normal Parachutes on the lander because I have used this lander design before on Duna so I thought, ''Better be prepared!'' There is literally debris everywhere and my cousin who also plays says ''Your the most stupid human being on Earth'' (Lol its true) I make the long trek with Jeb, almost getting an orbit with the RCS pack and launch with the lander with a decent amount of fuel. I head back to Kerbin not taking any chances and I head straight for it. I am not going very fast so I just rely on my parachutes. I land on a mountain range and plan to head to the top of a mountain so I can land easier for a plane rescue mission. I start the trek, being VERY cautious of the cliff to Jeb's left. I call Jeb, the Mini-Alien-Sherpa. I get distracted and I fall off the cliff, getting squided out and I die. Very eventful day, Huh?
Corona688
Today was a part retrieval job. I counted on two things, 1) If you can force a part to come down sideways, it generates a ton of drag (to the point I've had entire space stations emerge from re-entry unburned). 2) If you can prevent speed from increasing on the way in, this reduces heat a lot. After a number of false starts, I managed to grab the part in question in this phage-looking thing: Behind the heat shield is my usual case/probe stack plus a Klaw and a few oscar-B tanks. Lastly, a pair of forward-facing Ant engines. Not completely forward-facing, more of a 45-degree angle, so I can keep them behind the shield and still produce forward thrust. Not as efficient, but plenty efficient enough for manuevering and deorbiting, and kept things slow-enough on re-entry I saw no thermometer popups on the way down. Corona688
A contract wanted me to put a station in orbit of Minmus. I thought that was a bit unambitious. At $75,000, easily the most expensive single rocket launched so far in this save. Edited July 25, 2016 by Corona688
flatbear
I finally got around to landing an actual kerbal on duna I think I lost my engine in the landing though...... will probably have to do a rescue mission or just maybe leave jeb for dead Edited July 25, 2016 by flatbear

Kyrt Malthorn
I've been on Kerbal hiatus for a while, since about the launch of 1.1, as I just felt like playing something with less... um... engineering constraints. But I knew I'd be back, and here I am! So starting a new stock-experience game in 1.13 (visual and informational mods only) I've started a normal difficulty game with the intent of putting kerbals on each planet(oid)! My weekend consisted of relearning things from the ground up. I haven't done much science on Kerbin, since I found it easy to start gathering it from space. I'm used to playing hardmode with like, 30% science returns? This is cake. But I realized, hardmode really only limits this basic early stage, by the time you've unlocked half the tech tree there's more than enough science in reach anyway... So, I've shot things at the Mun and done Minmus fly-bys, and I have one probe with a few cheap lightweight instruments headed for a flyby of Moho for some quick science (and to brush up on my interplanetary transfers). I am, however, most proud of my little Mun program for now. I've had two successful missions, 2 kerbals each. My third I just landed has been a bit more daring! Two rovers were launched ahead of time, and met up with a crew of four! Johning, Edbles, Gusdun, and Jesie Kerman (2 engineers, 2 scientists for redundancy) will be tasked with exploring nearby biomes over the coming days. While both rovers are fully equipped with science, one will be used primarily - the other held in reserve in case an engineer needs to rush over and fix some tires. Ahh, good to be back. Edit: is it just me or is my imgur link busted? Edited July 25, 2016 by Kyrt Malthorn
SmashingKirby148
I'm about to send a Minmus base in one rocket. Wish me luck. XD
MaxwellsDemon
Horus 20 came home from Minmus, another supply ship was sent to Station Alpha, and the masts for the Science Power Platform and the main solar truss were added to the KSS, along with the cupola assembly. And yours truly fell asleep last night dreaming Kerbal dreams, not at all unpleasant.

Vermil
The long Mun night comes to an end and the Sun rises to illuminate the scene of (what Mission Control now has demoted to:) "the unfortunate incident" (words like tragedy, disaster and accident were reportedly heard before). The Mk3 cockpit is still intact, powered and warm, and our lucky heroes are still at perfect health. They're even having a pleasant breakfast on tea and toast with marmelade. The plan is easy and straightforward enough. At the Lensman, Bill will take the Rover (after breakfast there too) and drive the distance to the crashed Firebrand pod. So the Rover-release button is pressed and... ... ... ...nothing happens,.. ...except that Mission Control's heart maybe stopped for a moment. Mission Control: (entirely mute, holding his breath) Bill: "Hold on a minute. Gonna try the manual release... - Ah, yeah, there she drops!" Jebediah: "Ah well. Somebody probably forgot to wire it. - MC? - Everything is in order now." Bill climbs down the extended ladders to begin his long drive. Bill: "- Oops!" Dr Horst: "Bill, Mission Control has fainted. Valentina tries to revive him now. What happened?" Bill: "Not really my fault I think. I was going to reverse free from the Rocket. The Rover jumped like a dragster when I touched the throttle, and then it just slid like it was on ice. Very weird." Dr Horst (concerned): "What's the damage?" Bill: "Don't worry. We're still in business. I broke the two aft deployable solar panels. They're utterly redundant. We don't need them." Dr Horst: "- Ah, good! Mission Control will be relieved when he hears." And off he drives. Bill is in good mood. The Rover_E seems incredibly stable and smooth. This will be a much easier drive than he had perhaps feared. The battery remains fully charged all the time. Dr Horst's theories of how Rovers should be designed seems to hold up well. Bill even starts to enjoy himself. He had to drive a S-shaped path to avoid two craters, so the journey was longer than 13 Km. But there they are, at last, the crashed Firebrand cockpit. Okay, wake up in there. Your ride is here. PT
I tried to make a simple plugin for KSP. KSP API refused to cooperate. Apparently in KSP child is not necessarily a child of its parent. Hmm. Then I accidentally hit space on my test vehicle. It flew quite well for a barn door.

Rudyaard
First contract for a base on Minmus. It's simple and took me 2 launches, but I'm quite pleased with it. Landed the modules within 100 metres of each other!
fourfa
Here's a thing that works: hiding the rear landing gear inside the Mk2 Clamp-O-Tron. The track width is narrow, and there's no way around a nose-up attitude, so flaring for landing is tricky. Landing gear inside a Mk2 cargo bay is also possible, but only just. The doors hang down very low and will probably crash on any surface except the runway. The only reason for this is aesthetics. The retracted small landing gear have negligible drag.
