CCKinnison
Destroyed 2 Kethane Refineries, trying to land them on the Mun - not QUITE enough fuel left in them to land properly, and there's something VERY wrong with the power usages of the ION2s that should have handled the landing... so, I'm redesigning. Again (sigh). On the plus side, I have an unfuelled small tug and an unfuelled scanner/mapping probe in orbit about the mun, just waiting for someone to get there and fuel them back up. Brotoro
Crashed some VTOLs. Many times. But crashed them relatively gently today. And actually landed safely a few times. But not as many times as I'd like.
keanukeno21
Landed on tylo... kinda, the lander turn into a million parts, but the kerbal's survived!
capi3101
Got a Barn Burner up to Eris 2 and finally refilled the damn thing enough to get it into a near-equatorial orbit. Burned up most of my available RCS fuel in the process. Next step: dock it to my refueling depot and fill it up the rest of the way. Now might be a good time to send some actual fuel to the station...Still haven't got the superheavy tug into orbit yet. But that's for lack of trying.Need to come up with a name for the superheavy tug project - Right now my standard tugs are all "Enyo" missions and the heavy tugs are all "Eris" missions. Flixxbeatz
Landed on tylo... kinda, the lander turn into a million parts, but the kerbal's survived!Tylo eats landers, no surprise.
Dizzle
Decided to build an SRB plane. More than the fact that if flew, I was surprised by the landing. That is, I was surprised it landed.
GeneralMDBK
Today I introduced my little brothers, that I had to babysit, into the world of KSP. I gave them the mission of flying to the moon and with very minimal assistance they managed to take of, orbit kerbin, reach the moon but unfortunately crashed into the surface. Still I made them little success ribbons to show their accomplishments, and promised them another chance to fly again. But both unfortunately crashed.I still gave them each an award though. Xeldrak
Well, build a Rover (I realy love the new rover-wheels) and sent it to Duna...
Giggleplex777
I made a stock quadrotor. And I finally landed on the VAB with a helicopter. Edited June 27, 2013 by Giggleplex777
Flixxbeatz
Planning to de-orbit my old station and replace it with a new one in a slightly higher orbit than the former. The kerbals will be evacuated promptly.
animalcross
I did squat, unless being in mental distress about wanting to play the new update counts. Regardless I'm planning two things: A: If saves don't brake (unlikely) I will continue my main save. B: If they do, I will have a giant rage and deorbit my huge space station which took for-EVER to build.
General Rarity
I finally got the full version of KSP from a friend and strapped Jeb to a rocket. Kerbals are pretty heavy...I also tried to make a spaceplane but failed (It went nose down after the engines went off)
Guest
My day was fairly busy, all things considered. I have three ships in queue for planetary transfers, two to Duna and one to Dres. I finished my rover carousel and sent one on a wheelie mission to Minimus. Jeb died in a freak rover accident on the Mun but his body went missing; I think some sort of quantum entanglement/teleportation was involved because he showed up ready for the Dres mission and hopped right into the lander. I also built an orbital taxi and used it to refine my docking technique.Javascript is disabled. View full album
KerbMav
Took my new rescue boat to two stranded pods in Kerbal orbit - no accidental burning for the sun today - and with a few ounces of fuel left parked it 0m/s beside my space station. Didnt dock, this time i forgot to place RCS thrusters fore and aft ... my engineering brain cells are on vacation apparently, at least my orbiting skills are still up to the job.Sent an ion-powered rescue vehicle after the first rescue boat I de-Kerbined yesterday by dumbly not paying attention ... somehow the power lines are wrong, the engines dont get power from all solar sails, only from the batteries - course instabilities due to engine failure. Tw1
Mucked around with a rover to send to Eeloo.Once it could climb over the launchpad without loosing too many wheels, I was happy to let it be strapped to the probe. Continued my mission to the Jool system, after eliminating a glitch that occurred because I bought both versions of mechjeb along. Arrived at Tylo. Tilt and eject system worked perfectly. Moved the Jool master probe on to Vall.In light of the coming reaction wheel system, I modified my starfighter. More SAS, and back up solar panels. That ought to do it. mellojoe
I returned some Kerbals from the Mun. I built a new core for a new space station (my old one was eaten by the instant-exploding kraken).
Tex_NL
I perfected my SSTO cargo plane (bottom right). It's guaranteed to get a 20 ton payload into LKO.
FITorion
There was a slight issue during the latter stages of launch that resulted in the loss of its RCS fuel and docking port. I have enough fuel to deorbit... but no way of slowing my decent. It wasn't meant to come back into the atmosphere. So he's going to be there a while. DChurchill
Rebuilt my LKO Spacedock for the 3rd time. One of these times I'll get it right.Launched another Duna mission with two consecutive launches. One for the orbiter and one for the lander, docked them in LKO, waiting on the window in 149 days. I hate just letting timewarp just wind out the time without doing anything else, so I'm going to do a couple sapcedock addon missions before then. TheFlower69
Tried to take screen shots of some of my probes, but found that pressing f1 seems to do nothing.Worked out where one of my probes disappeared to. (It was on a sub-orbital trajectory, past Apoapsis, and I time accelerated while watching something else so I guess it crashed while my attention was elsewhere)Discovered the ribbon awards thread, and added my miniscule achievements to my forum sig. If I get the chance this evening I'm going to shoot for the Equatorial and Polar orbit bars for my ribbon
TomcatMVD
I perfected my SSTO cargo plane (bottom right). It's guaranteed to get a 20 ton payload into LKO.I'm sorry for the question but I'm pretty new to this whole thing and don't have the mods figured out just yet. Which one gives you that robot arm thingy you're using to unload your cargo? Thanks.
Tex_NL
The CanadArm comes from Romfarer's Robotic Arms PackThe planes are stock, B9 and PWingThe base is mainly Large Structural Components
Kerbal01
I launched the CS Sapphire rocket pack by BlazingAngel665's sapphire rocket. It was underwhelming apoapsis was only 3.8 km.
capi3101
Put my Superheavy tug on one of Temstar's Zenith Nova boosters (thanks, Temstar!!) and finally got it into space. Thing could've made Duna on its own, as it turns out. Had to redesign it when I accidentally took off the main fuel tank (the one with all the hardware) and couldn't get the functional unit into space again...Flew around in an Arrow-V, Morningstar and Rapier-II/A (some of Peeph's spaceplane designs from Wing Commander). Crashed the Arrow, killing Jeb, crashed the Morningstar by killing running the booster into the ground on takeoff, killing Jeb, and tore one of the wings off the Rapier (though that one was otherwise a successful landing, my first).Plan for tonight: iron out existing problems with the superheavy tug design and get it into space for reals, then maybe finish refueling Eris 2.
