[WIP][1.1.3] Large Structural/Station Components [Image Heavy]

Recommended Posts

I can confirm that, even during my final year of university, I still have you guys n' gal's at heart; and I'm continuing work, albeit slowly on the factory plugin. I still have very little time to do anything else, like update configs and create new models.

The other reason is that I need to learn C# for employment opportunities, to go with the other languages I know.

So, Merry Christmas; sort of.

Yay, your back! Also, If you have been following the station science mod you might have seen fusty has stopped working on custom parts and the developer, Ethernet, really needs some parts. When I saw that I immediately thought of this mod and posted that he should come see. His mod and these parts fit together so well its uncanny, and I think if you let him use the models it would really boost both mods. Just a suggestion :)

I made a modulemanager file that adds Science Station functionality to your parts. Then I noticed that your license specifies no distributing derivative works. I'm not entirely sure if this qualifies, but I figured it would be better to ask. If you'd like, I'd be happy to send you the file or post it.

Really love these parts, they can make awesome station modules. Keep the goodness coming man, at your own pace of course...C:

A question. I want to change the textures so that they mate better with stock parts (mainly desaturating some of the textures a little). How can I edit those mbm files in photoshop? I need a converter for that?

The thread may be dead the mod is not. You should have checked the release thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/34664-Large-Structural-Station-Components-20-Compatible-Release-Thread instead of this development thread.

For a direct download go to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64621786/udk_lethal_d0se.zip. It's fully functional in 0.23 and has proper tech tree integration.

I have used this mod a lot in the past and it never did anything special. It's just a structural part, nothing more. With some customization you could of course mod it into a 'green house' for life support.

Hey everyone, just a quick message:

In the coming week I will be updating this pack to fully utilize the new additions that came with release (and hotfixes). I have been reviewing both this and the release thread over the past few days since I left to complete my degree and will continue to update this mod, albeit not as frequently as during initial development. I had also planned to remove the Hydro-Gro part as it no longer has a purpose; I will not be pursuing the plugin for life support further. I shall however leave this to a vote, and may keep it in the pack for aesthetic purposes.

Hope you're all well by the way, thanks for all the support you've given; see you soon.

I must admit, the Mk. 2 version of the hydro module looks nice, but I've grown a bit attached to the original one. Especially with the MM config I've made (so I can use it with Station Science). Is there any chance You could bundle both versions in your new release please? :)

Edit: Oh yea, that reminds me, will you be making adjustments to the stats of the modules? *hint* module masses *hint* :D

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
