While playing KSP I've started listening to this:

missioncontrol120.jpg

SomaFM Mission Control. Right now they are playing tapes from Apollo with soft music in the background. Really funny to listen to the astronauts going crazy about some 'pretty rock' they found and 'amazing' craters. Sometimes one can't help but wonder what mix of gasses they had in the suits.

On the other hand if I was on the Moon after several years of hard work I'd be giddy too.

Can recommed SomaFM in general, 20 channels streamed ad-free music...

Hope this doesn't count as advertising, I'm in no way affiliated, yadi, yada....

I used to listen to classic rock mostly. Nowadays I listen to Bluegrass (old school "country") and Celtic folk, quite the change! I'm a huge fan of Jerry Douglas. I play the acoustic guitar, the Weissenborn, and well, lap steel in general.

I like various types of music, although a lot of it is video game music. Nobuo Uematsu (composer of most of the Final Fantasy soundtracks) has made some of my all-time favourite songs. Here are a few examples:

Well, damn that isn't an easy question to answer, I'll go for almost anything; classics, rock, electronic, rap, even soundtracks from games and movies that i like, it ranges to anything, as long as i like the beat.

Then it comes down to what i'm in the mood for.

Am I in the mood for classics? rock? etc.

So yeah, pretty much anything, as long as i like the beat i'll listen to it on hours end and end up never being able to listen to it again...

I recently re-discovered the good old soundtrack from Empire Earth and have proceeded to listen to it again and again and again...

I've often said I can find at least one song in any given genre that I will find enjoyable. Though I tend to listen to 60's & 70's Classic Rock, I've a rather wide spectrum of music in my playlist. I'm still rebuilding my collection after losing a few megs of rarities I've collected from various sources, but 4400 songs keeps the variety up. :)
