Arno Nyhm
This ads soooo much "kerbality" to the spaceprogram! Now it is possible to start a carreer-game just the right way. Thanks alot for bringing back the fun into the game.
wasmic
Why do I need to install ModuleManager to use the tech tree? Wouldn't it be easier to just have the parts in the techtree by default, without ModuleManager?EDIT: Oh, and Rubber Ducky, you just won the internet. MennoLente
I just tried it out, it worked like a charm. I laughed about the parts, tried building a rocket, and now I'm removing it al (exept the microwave oven, that one can stay). I really love this mod and stuff, but it feels a bit overkerballed for me at the moment.I heard (read) some people talking about the tech tree and improving engines; this could be the ultimate answer! A bargain equivalent for every early tech rocket part, and when advancing through the tech tree, the bargain parts can be upgraded to the current squad parts. This mod would give the game a more "game" feel that the "ludic diy rocket sandbox" feel that it has now (despite the recently introduced career mode). It looks you're applying for developer at squad, while sending them back to square one of what they thought career mode would be like. One thing for sure, the parts don't fit the current. Oh dear it was somuchfun what doweedoo now... I can't put a stretchy tank between those parts.Animated bird-like flapping styrofoam wings would be cool too, by the way. Gojira
Could you put these in the stock tech tree without ModuleManager? I'd really like to see that and have these in my space program without replacing the default parts.
BigFatStupidHead
The video is beautiful. I will certainly grab these parts ASAP.
Storywalker4
This is THE singular most kerbal thing I've ever seen. Now you shoukd make a cardboard or otherwise fitting spacesuit to go along with
Rubber Ducky
Could you put these in the stock tech tree without ModuleManager? I'd really like to see that and have these in my space program without replacing the default parts. The stock parts are all still there, they're just moved to later in the tree (see the image provided in the OP for the full tree). It doesn't make sense to add the parts to the tree without ModuleManager because you'd have all these crappy, trash parts available at the same time as the nice and shiny stock parts. Mecha Pants
Very nicely done, I could see some cardboard or styrofoam wings, maybe ceiling fan propellers or leaf blower jet engines.. and shopping cart landing gear. y'know, if you decided to get into plane parts. KerbMav
Could you put these in the stock tech tree without ModuleManager? I'd really like to see that and have these in my space program without replacing the default parts.Open the BargainRockets.cfg and delete everything below the lines://-------------------------------------//Stock Parts[code]Is every Stock part listed in it? Would come in handy and save me a lot time if I were to mess with the tree or something at some point.

Rubber Ducky
It uses Module Manager for the science definitions.Actually, Resources/ScienceDefs.cfg is just the stock way of adding new science stuff (one is included in the standard KSP files as well). ModuleManager is only added to move parts around in the tech tree (BargainRockets.cfg).Is every Stock part listed in it? Would come in handy and save me a lot time if I were to mess with the tree or something at some point. Not everything is in that config file. If you look at this image I made, every stock part is listed. Just add the white-colored parts to the config file and that should be everything! 123nick
can you use tree-loader for the tech tree addition? or have a version that doesent change stock parts around? i have a heavily modded version of KSP and im afraid the moved stock parts ( if there is, if not ignore this) might cause incompatibility
