For the new planet, I think they should implement Sentar from Krag's Planet Factory Mod into the Game, and make Kragathea a KSP developer, for planets that is.

The surprise is that Mu supposedly "Fixed" the water lag bug. Apparently Squad finally managed to get it to render without recalculating physics frames every tick. If this is actually true unlike what Max has said the past three updates where the lag would be "fixed" then maybe it really is planet sized, because I can't enjoy planes or even looking at the terrain now because of how low of FPS I get.

I've heard that the water on any given planet is a mesh the size of the planet. So if the water lag is fixed, then the fix would indeed be "planet-sized".

They do periodically include unity version updates with KSP updates where it is possible to do so without breaking everything. Among the 0.18 updates was such a unity version change.

I somehow doubt there would be a new planet, as it is most of the planets already in the system go unvisited because there isn't much to do on them but look for artifacts and harvest kethane.

What would be funny is if they added a new planet, but didn't tell anyone, and it wouldn't appear in the orbital maps until either a probe or Kerbal is close enough to see (or hit...) it.

I disagree, I think the whole point of the game is to explore. Science really gives us more of an incentive to visit other planets as well. I do however think that, if they add another planet further out, we will need another time warp button...

Only if said time warp can only be used whilst in Solar orbit only...I've missed enough maneuveur nodes to regret spamming > too enthusiastically!!
