mythic_fci
Comparison of Saturn V and N1*2x imgsnip*My Saturn V is taller, while the base of the N1 is wider, as they were in real life.Actually, in real life the N-1 was taller and larger; it's just that it never got off the ground (without crashing spectacularly) so the Saturn V is more commonly known as the largest rocket. Redrobin
The Saturn V is taller, but the N1 has more thrust on the first stage.

sal_vager
Yep, each month a new thread is chosen to be stickied, this helps make those threads more visible, who knows RedRobin, maybe one of your threads will be stickied one day

GusTurbo
Well, that's what happens at the end of the month. Yup. I'm mainly satisfied that the OSCTCA is a regular fixture. Having this up for a month was just icing on the cake.

John Crichton
First SSTO that's 100% mine while not crashing within the first 2min...and with a Kethane miner. But yeah, intake spam. Pretend it's one large intake Super stable, goes 2.3km/s at 32km but could probably beat that with a good pilot. I have no clue how far it can get, Mechjeb shows weird readings if you switch over from the Rapiers to the 48-7s. Should be enough to go to the Mun to refuel though. Redrobin
It has about 2km/s which should be enough as it has parachutes. Edited March 2, 2014 by Redrobin

Woopert
Hmmm....http://imgur.com/a/aHeDVYou have a lot of details on this one/Space Shuttle! The gap under the tail is there, the space shuttle leans forwards, and the way the front wheel is oriented is accurate as well! The back gear look good too...Have you tried more accurately shaping the wings? They look good already but after that the Odysseus STS will be near perfect or perfect! barcode386
Pandora IV Mun Drop Ship. With the help of more enlisted astronauts, this ship will get 13 Kerbals to Munar orbit. You can then either land or head back to Kerbin!
Gue__1
Hmmm....Hmmm.... indeed, personaly I think that the vertical stabilizer is just a little bit to tiny. But then again when writing this, it does look good. Gue

If they're munar landers, you'd be a lot better off with 909s. Then you could land AND get back home!
barcode386
Don't the 909's have the larger form factor? The rapiers can be done away with completely, but my very first launch with this configuration was flawless. I had Kerbals landing on the Mun, landing on Kerbin, orbiting both, etc. I effectively ended up with a large fleet of RAPIER ships in orbit. Here's a video. http://youtu.be/TPgyJCW3D0QBy the way, here is the video for the experimental Pandora VII. Just seeing how big they can be made. Giggleplex777
The LV-909 are lighter, smaller, and more efficient.
barcode386
I'll switch to that series. Couldn't remember if it was the smaller form factor. Thanks.
