Midi Scale Ariane 5 Replica (around 100 parts)

Hey, today this is going to be the Ariane 5 being showcased. It is not exactly mini, but it's not full scale either. So let's call it midi scale, since that's what LEGO once did with their models that were an intermediate scale.

It has 2 SRBs just like the real one, but on the core stage are 6 LVT-30s clustered closely to resemble one full engine, which on the real Ariane 5 would be the Vulcain engine powered by liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. More on this technique will be shared on the "Open Source Construction Techniques for Craft Aesthetics" thread. The Ariane 5 is made by the ESA (European Space Agency) and Arianespace

This variant has the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) onboard, used to resupply space stations in real life (the ISS). In the game though, it has no real purpose other than aesthetics.

How to fly:

Throttle to 60% at launch.

At boosters separation, throttle up to 100%. Try to fly at whatever keeps the time to apoapsis rising. Fly as shallow as possible while still raising time to apoapsis. Circularize at 100km or below, aim for periapsis of 100km. Warranty void if going above periapsis of 100 km.

I always pictured the Ariane 5 as being quite a big rocket! Although it is used for the ATV and other satellites so size isn't everything I guess.
