I'm not fussed what it's called, so long as it's NOT credits/kredits. That's an overused sci-fi cliché that needs to die in a fire.

The Kerbal currency is not represented by coins or paper money, instead it is green cubes. The composition of said cube determines the value. One basic unit is a green sugar cube.

The name of said cube is Kubit.

I've always advocated "Kerbits" or "Kerbal Credits" if you will. Kind of emphasizing how Kerbality has grown beyond the need for nations or individual currency.
