That's the whole point of the deployAnimationController parameter. It disables extending and retracting while docked. My issue is that it disables the extend/retract ability too early, and you can't retract the probe to dock. So basically, you're just stuck in soft-dock.

This whole point is moot if I don't use the parameter, but it's dangerous for people who want to "experiment" with parts.

Hmm... and what if you use a larger acquire range for the docking ports and the docking nodes a bit inside to the model?

That means when you retract, they will dock eventually after the crafts where rubbing together after the probes where already retracted.

It would be launched on an N-1 first of all. Then when it got into LEO, it would perform TMI/TVI. Apparently it had a booster in the back fueled by Kerosene with 350 ISP and it made one major burn to get it on course. It'd drop the booster after TMI, flyby Mars, then come back with minor corrections with some sort of SPS. I think they relied on something similar Zubrin's mission plan with a 2 year free return on a 6 month transit. However, I've flown to Duna dozens of times. And I've simulated flybys but not once have I gotten an encounter with Kerbin almost instantaneously.

Fuji Docking Port/Parachute feedback!

Is there any way the chute could come out the side of the port? It doesn't make too much sense to have it come out the center as I'm sure you're already aware. Heh. Not a huge deal either way.

Most images are from a review done that ended up condemning the entire spacecraft. This should be useful for recreations, not as much for part creation.

Is there any way the Exploration Module could have REALLY large observation windows? The Fuji was meant to be used for tourism to an extent, so large windows would have been a priority.

I have a question, I'm not trying to be annoying or anything, But i've just looked at some of the early posts of this mod, And i would like to ask, Will there be legacy releases?

All the talk about old Tantares stuff made me go back and look... it's so cute!

I like it. And I'd say the striped one is better. It catches eye. Yeah, it's too thin, but for some reason that still works for me.

May I ask, I looked back in the older versions and I saw you made an IVA for the ATV and Kvant module, why didn't you release it?

When opening the TK-SM05B Service Module, everything overheats (and explodes without hax). Any ideas?

Edit: When closing, letting it cool, and reopening it, the overheating doesn't occur. Strange...(I have replicated this bug multiple times on the same craft. Maybe its quirk of the ship instead)

Large window OM? I think this could be nice to have (And is a very easy IVA for "observation" module, big empty space!).

Other questions:

- Parachute needs to be centered, as it will always operate from centre of mass of part, no matter parachute transform position.

- Parafoil would look nice, I will experiment :)

- The final part will have a "cap" to cover the interior you see there, when parachute stowed.

- It's thin, but should be fine!

When you do remake it a 1.875 meter engine would be nice as we have no upper stage engines in that size currently...

Configs - yes of course, I am more than happy to take on tech-tree suggestions (I have never balanced it correctly, that much should be obvious :wink: ).

Short changes include more sizes, N1 scaling factors, and some tweaks and fixes.

I'll be absent from the forums for quite a while. If anyone wants to update the configs when Beale drops new parts on you all, please feel free. If you just look at the configs, you can figure out the way it works very quickly.

Hmm, Well, I guess that explains why i forgot it :P Anyway, I have one little thing i'd like, Because it bugs the hell out of me, The soyuz part retexture basically renders certain parts useless, Because the colour contrast doesn't work, So my request is, Either a small tutorial on if i can have two different soyuz parts at once, Or, Maybe you could put together a couple green textures for the shenzhou and such, This may be asking too much, But i won't be upset or anything if you won't do it.
