By now, Doug Walker (The Nostalgia Critic) has reviewed some of the worst nostalgic movies, but he hasn't reviewed all of them...

RULES:

1. Pick one of your most hated movies/games/TV shows

2. Say why you hate them in about one sentence

Here is an example: I hate Uncle Grandpa because it is way too childish and presents kids as stupid morons.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Game:

Stronghold 3

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stronghold_3

Not only was this game delivered in a state that was far buggier and more feature incomplete than many games in their Alpha State (and I am not only talking about KSP or Dwarf Fortress when I say this), and, when Firefly officially stopped patching 3/4 year after its release, it still hd a lot of bugs and was still missing features that were expected to be included (for example the ability to order your troops to build a moat).

Despite being a Castle building game, the walls of the castle are more or less worthless against attackers ... even normal soldiers can tear the walls down within seconds, and the balustrade obviously bears no protective value against attackers, as javelin throwers can wipe your walls clean of your archers without any problems (hell, in one single player map I, as defender, just abandoned all walls and assembled all troopes (ranged and melee) in the inner courtyard, as defending the walls would mean sacrificing them, without making any impact.

There are other shortcomings as ell, for example no base building AI (unlike the last 2 parts of the series) that I won´t mention in detail.

Especially bitter IMHO is, that the former parts (especially Stronghold 1 and Stronghold 1 Crusader) were Jewels and are still worth playing ... but with Stronghold 3, the reputation of Firefly Studios with long standing fans of the Stronghold series fell through the bottom.

So, yes, I guess this all and the fact that I spent 20€ on the game when I bought it without reading reviews, makes it one of my most hated games ;)

Movie: Titanic because it's a putrid heap of bs with a steaming side of rat snot. James Cameron should have his eyes put out with a hot spoon.

TV Show: Too many to count, but I'm going with Two and Half Men. Charlie Sheen could catch on fire and I wouldn't spit on him. The kid is a moronic punk and the twerp dad represents everything that's wrong with modern America.

Game: Bioshock and it's nasty filthy descendents. BOOOOORRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGGG

Ooh, ooh! *sticks hand in the air excitedly, that should be an emoticon*

The pros of having a younger sister: Sometimes, you get cupcakes from the school

The cons of having a younger sister: Disney Channel. *shudders*

It's not even funny how bratty the children depicted are. Sometimes, you just want to impale the screen of the TV with a red hot poker, and throw the remains into a bromine lake. It's acting as a host for the parasite to society that includes "selfies", and all of the other junk that we din't have to put up with a while back. The old stuff was good, but it's just a shame to TV nowadays.

Least favorite movie is probably the Wicker Man- you know, THE BEES! AAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHH!

I don't like this movie not only because it has a terrible plot, story, and everything else, but because it tarnished Nicholas Cage's reputation and made him look like a horrible actor. Honestly, if you put any other actor in his place in that movie, it would ruin THEIR reputation just as much as it ruined his.

Biggest disappointment for me was Bioshock and Stalker Call of Prypriat.

Bioshock was claimed as open world gameplay, but was about as hemmed in and directed as you can get.

Stalker was confusing, I was off on mission without really knowing why, the minimap was hard to use. The game was quite hard but I don't fault it on this account, hard is OK.

Worst movie I've had the displeasure of being dragged out to: Dance Flick. I walked out after about half an hour, it was just utterly utterly awful.

Worst game I've had the misfortune of owning: Little Britain on the PS2. A cheap shameless tie-in, zero depth and barely playable. I'd have more fun if I used the disc as a frisbee.

Starship Troopers

Never should have watched it after reading the book.

I can agree with you on this. In the right producer/ director's hands, it could have been an epic, or at least classic movie. Makes me wonder if the Heinlein trust will ever let someone else do an adaptation of another of Robert's novels.

Game? Command and Conquer 4. They removed two of the most prominent features of the series: base building and resource gathering.

Movie? I was dragged to Free Birds or whatever it's called. Horrid...

TV Show? Mostly anything on CN or Disney. Those... things... Exceptions for CN: the old, good ones (we're talking 5-10 years ago)

Within the last two months or so, I saw Destination Moon. If you want to see a Heinlein movie, check that one out.

My least favorite movie: The Lightning Thief

I know that films never 100% faithful to the books, but the film had WAY too many changes, none of which made the story better.

My least favorite TV show: All reality shows, all sitcoms...well, pretty much all TV shows except for some good old CN cartoons that I grew up watching and good anime series. I just don't like TV shows in general. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I do like Monty Python's Flying Circus and I liked Mythbusters when I used to watch it (I'd probably still like it if I started watching it again.) I also liked M*A*S*H but it isn't on much anymore (because it's old) so I haven't seen many episodes.

Least Favorite Game: I've played many bad games, but if I had to pick a game that people would be familiar with, I'd choose Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. This game took everything I loved and expected in a Zelda game and threw it away.

Ok so you know when the Puss in Boots movie came out? Well my dad got the cheapo redbox knockoff, with WILLIAM SHATNER AS A FREAKIN' CAT.

Video game? I really don't like minecraft as much ever since the full release, too much stuff in vanilla and not as good mods.

TV: I can't stand disney channel shows
