BrobDingnag
Nope, I've kept TS out of this install because it plays merry havoc with a bunch of the other mods I want to use. I think it's one of the panels from Near Future, if that gives a frame of reference. Edited February 27, 2023 by BrobDingnag
BrobDingnag
Same problem again. The hangar demands to be this large when launching a relatively small ground vehicle, for absolutely no reason. There's a huge rectangular prism in the VAB that doesn't even remotely correspond to its shape or size.
damerell
Do you have a craft file for the ground vehicle, please? As you may infer, I've seen this before, and I'm trying to bring to mind what I fiddled with that fixed it.

If you open the hanger space for the payload vehicle you can remove things here and there to figure out which part is the issue. I don't know how to fix it per se, but I've been able to get around it by simply not using that part. Some have been really bad, making a ship go from 2x2x4 to 30x30x4.. Misucat
How does the inline hangar work, please? I load a spacecraft into it (using "Edit Content") in the VAB, but once in orbit, there's nothing at all when I open the doors. There's also no option to jettison it (like the Fairing Hangar)... I did notice the docking port inside the bay, but what's its purpose? If I use it, it doesn't reduce the number of parts in the vessel. In short, I haven't understood the usefulness of this part
damerell
Hangar puts a toolbar item up with which you can eject a stored craft from the hangar. I don't use the docking port, but AFAIK it's for convenience - you can use it to hold a ship unmoving inside the hangar.
Misucat
It works better using the toolbar, thank you!
GoAHead
i found an issue for fairing based hangars. after a scene switch they do not jettison the payload anymore (it simply does nothing when clicking on the jettison button). without a vessel/scene switch it works. Hangar based Hangars (the ones are controlled by the toolbaar icon where you can open/close the gates) working without problems. is this known? linuxgurugamer
Found a problem: Two parts have the same part name: From the ModuleManager.ConfigCache: First one: UrlConfig { parentUrl = Hangar/Parts/AsteroidHangars/AsteroidHatch2.cfg PART { name = AsteroidHatchNew Second one: UrlConfig { parentUrl = Hangar/Parts/AsteroidHangars/AsteroidHatchNew.cfg PART { name = AsteroidHatchNew Edited 17 hours ago by linuxgurugamer
