I am in favor of 0.625 jets, but if i had to choose, id rather have 0.625 electric propellers (push and pull tweakable) as they are more useful on other atmospheric planets. they would also only require electric power and be much more efficient that ions in atmosphere.

As for 2m jet engines, the general electric engine referenced earlier is a turbo fan so its basically a massive fan attached to the drive shaft of a jet turbine and I think 2m jet engines should be too.

they wouldn't perform well at higher altitude (20,000m+) but would have massive lifting capability closer to sea level. perfect for huge VTOLs.

but if there is going to be a redo/upgrade to air breathing engines, i think intake air flow needs to be changed to handle like fuel flow. that means air ducts that are placed like fuel lines. its an easy system to understand. people already understand fuel lines. but this is an discussion for another time

I have made three micro planes all use the same shape but two are ion they all can carry 5 kerbals and can fly on up to 25,000 kilometres on Kerbin (not all use full throttle)

I agree, except I think they shouldn't just add .625m jets. Why don't we also have rockomax-sized jet engines?

Nothing too late I am looking for the 0.91 A stock MJ, tweakscale robotics, life support, unmanned tech support, and fuelswitchable, RESIZEABLE fueltanks and perhaps resizeable almost everything in it

I am sure you can add to this list a whole lot of the favourite (all time favourite) mods which should be vanila.... But yeah more and variable is allways a better from anything including really small and really huge parts (I mean engines) as well

Yes, I'd love a 0.625m jet engine. Would make building compact turboshaft engines a lot easier.
