Ever have a Kerbal just stand there, dazed?

So I managed to land a munar rover. Wow, hard to control...

Long story short I went over a crater edge, and cartwheeled down. Rover mostly OK, but the driver was scraped off. Now he's standing there, can switch to him, but not do anything. The rover drives without him, and since I'm on a hill, I'm literally using poor Aldzer as a chock for the rover.

You can try reloading a save. Have you gone in and returned before posting this?

The other option is quickload, which it may or may not be too late for you to do. This is why I recommend that everyone should use quicksave periodically even if they wanna do a no-quickload run.

Either way, this sounds like a bug and should probably go to the tech support section of the forum.

I have never done any saves other than what the game does. I exited, and came back. Same. When I switch to map view, it is not focus on his location, but the center of the Mun.

If it happens again, try knocking him over with the rover or another kerbal. Sometimes it resets a stuck kerbal when he automatically stands up again.

It was the first thing I did, actually, maybe I didn't hit him hard enough (when I circled around to put the rover near him to see if I could board, I braked insufficiently hard, picture above :) ).

Now there is the standard Kerbal answer - just hit him with something and he'll work! :)

I once tried to hit a Kerbal with another Kerbal when I had this issue (I think it was knocking Jeb into Bill after they fell out during the crash-landing of a Minmus rover that I had used RCS to make into a flying carpet.) I soon Hell Krakened.
