IBUSSY
Hello everyone, After updating from KSP 1.2.2 to 1.3.1 I'm having an issue with TextureReplacer and Diverse Kerbal Heads and I don't know what to do. Everytime a Kerbal goes EVA the game crashes. It seems that when I downloaded a couple of mods (using CKAN) y deleted the mod "Diverse Kerbal Heads". I asume installing it again should solve the issue, but when I try to it gives the following error in CKAN: "Cannot install TextureReplacer, module not available" and the details are the following: TextureReplacer hasn't been maintained by Shaw for a long, long time now, and the community has really stopped supporting it. Instead, we have an updated replacement, TextureReplacerReplaced (we're creative-naming geniuses!), by @HaArLiNsH. Install it instead. Yes, I also found TRR quite convoluted which is why I started using Sigma Replacements which is simpler to use and is more modular. You can use your suits and texture heads in TRR nearly like you did with TR, just need a little conversion. Sigma Replacement is great is you just want to change some textures like the skybox or use one other texture for your suits but I don't know if you have the reflections and the "leveled textures" where you can have different textures depending of your kerbal level. It has “level” suits and allows for choosing many different filtering options so the level is not the only thing that can dictate who gets what. It can be done by name, gender, level, profession, skill, trait and any combination of those. It does not have reflections yet though. However, SR is compatible with TRR and you can always use TRR to supplement the lack of reflections for the time being. Galileo
Try the mod. If it worked for you in 1.3.1, what makes you think it will fry your CPU in 1.4.2? It's a plugin for KSP, not a program that will render 8k video. Your CPU is safe. Have you ever heard of another mod in KSP that burns up your CPU? KSP does that all on its own, you don't need a separate mod to do that. Also, this mod includes ZERO textures. You download those separately.
