  1. Chapter 143. Dawn of a New Era - Part III where the Nova is almost ready to leave the cradle, and has a reference to a forum user that has been most influential to my shipbuilding skills.
  2. Chapter 142. Dawn of a New Era - Part II Featuring an amazing mission patch by @DiscoSlelge. C'est remarquable, nous sommes tres impressionnée.
  3. I would be disappointed ;-) It's modeled loosely after the NX-01, but I like to keep the center of thrust in-line, where as in startrek the nacelles are offset. Well okay, not loosely perhaps ;-)
  4. Chapter: 141. Dawn of a New Era - Part I Featuring the NX-10 Nova Silisko, my best ship design ever. Seriously, I rebuild this craft 4 times until I got near my design goal. I'm spending way too much time on this game ":-)
  5. Chapter: https://kscarchives.wordpress.com/2020/06/07/the-debrief-part-ii/ or as ShadowMage would say it: Again!
  6. Update: Propellium is already present in Jool atmo The hydroscoop is, well a hydro-scoop... maybe try something like: // stock atmo sensor can scan and scoop gasses @PART[sensorAtmosphere] { MODULE { name = ModuleResourceScanner ScannerType = 2 ResourceName = Propellium RequiresUnlock = false // I haven't touched this } // scoop it MODULE { name = ModuleResourceHarvester HarvesterType = 2 Efficiency = 0.75 ResourceName = Propellium ConverterName = Propellium Filter StartActionName = Start Propellium filter StopActionName = Stop Propellium filter AutoShutdown = true UseSpecialistBonus = false GeneratesHeat = false INPUT_RESOURCE { ResourceName = ElectricCharge Ratio = 1 } } }
  7. Thanks, my kerbals haven’t researched that part yet. But you gave me an idea, I can store charge and then dive in jool to discharge it cheap I’ll see about a patch to scoop stuff from high atmo landing isn’t always an option
  8. So I just dived in Jools Atmosphere in the hope of finding propelium with the hydro scoop, was that only supposed to work on Laythe? I thought I read Jool would work too And losing xenon at an alarming. rate as well :-)
  9. Perhaps check if vessel is current vessel? Anyways that opens up opportunities for creating some nascelle
  10. That seems to match my findings too. And if you don’t pack propellium you spent an hour figuring out why the thing is not taking off at all
  11. Chapter 139. The Mystery of Vall in which Scott starts to suffer from a serious depression and a mysterious discovery is made on Vall
  12. Ah that explains a lot New challenge: figuring out how much I can lift with a single displacement generator, I’m running out of gravity waves in my latest contraption
  13. Yes, even when a conventional craft approaches a flapjack and enables RCS the flapjack will respond, but this one was even funnier. Btw. I saw three transforms in the gravitic engine config file, I presume the forward and reverse point opposite to each other and the hover one points "up"?
  14. Chapter 138. The Return to Duna is there, in which Arlan and Dobal fall in love
  15. Let's jump back to the team at Jool in: 137. Jooltopia Planetia Shipyards Me too and KTech as well. I guess in time the Kerbals will learn new ways to make things explode ;-) Thanks, I was pretty pleased with it as well. I was slightly worried that the missiles weren't going to cut it for a moment.
  16. And the conclusion (of this part) 136. The Battle of Duna Part II
  17. This wheel is ancient and used bobcats special code. Always has been one piece, no welding (well probably inside blender) I tried fixing it, and I tried slicing it. The latter being probably the best option, but I never figured out the exact setup in unity to make a wheel work.
  18. Okay then, I've been thinking about this one for some time and I am super excited, here is: 134. The debrief Hope you like it!
  19. I'm sure I repacked the parachutes, I think they were just going too fast for them to deploy in time. I reloaded a couple of times, but in the end it is as it is. Life goes on but lets make sure their sacrifice was not in vain. Their discovery of the chamber of warning will undoubtedly be a pivotal moment in Kerbal history.
  20. Thanks man! And being the curious type: if you can share some screenshots on how you've setup unity, I think the community would benefit (I mean off course that I can put some demons of my own to rest)
  21. Let me dig a bit ;-) here you go, includes the best patch I could make https://we.tl/t-v0q4v8EIC7
