Welcome to the forum, @KingKerb. I'm in no way a modder but I do see most using the Github service to host mods.

Liquid fuel engines not running
James Kerman replied to Dawid1's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Welcome to the forum, @Dawid1. Some parts block fuel transfer by default like decouplers and docking ports. An image of your vessel really helps us to diagnose problems. The forum itself does not host images however you can use an online image storage service like imgur to host the picture and link to it here. -

Can't charge batteries on Duna?
James Kerman replied to Jarmo's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Don't be too harsh on yourself. KSP is a very complex game and we all have these sort of issues at one time or another. -
Can't charge batteries on Duna?
James Kerman replied to Jarmo's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The science lab uses a lot of power when active and solar panels are less effective the further from Kerbol you are. I would try stopping research and see if your batteries start charging. Also welcome to the forum @Jarmo. [Edit] I've also moved your thread to gameplay questions because it is a question about game play. -
I think that I was testing out the (then new) personal parachutes as a max Q abort system. Jeb died for science.

Sorry, I have trouble programming an alarm clock. Luckily there are sub forums you can ask in for assistance, depending on where you are having issues: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/forum/15-modelling-and-texturing-discussion/ https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/forum/29-c-plugin-development-help-and-support/ https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/forum/104-general-mod-development-help-and-support/

@Azimech has built some amazing mechanical creations, including a 4 speed planetary gearbox: Unfortunately I don't know what mods were used or even if this design still works in the latest KSP release.

Welcome to the forum, @Hatsune. I hope this is the first of many topics you begin here and I wish you good luck for your Duna mission.

Usually, however I'm sure there are some mods that allow you to connect vessels with hoses.

You don't need a pilot. If you are playing career, fuel transfer is not available until you upgrade R&D. [Edit] To transfer fuel, right click on one tank then hold [alt] and right click on as many others as you want. You get a pump in/out option with every dialogue box.

Not getting science missions
James Kerman replied to Ron Devu's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Getting a test equipment mission will temporarily unlock the required part. It will be locked again once the mission is successfully completed. Accepting such missions without completing is a technique that can be used to have access to parts higher in the tree when you are short of science points. -
Let's welcome St4rdust, our new Community Manager
James Kerman replied to UomoCapra's topic in Welcome Aboard
Welcome to the forum, @St4rdust. A gamer, space nut and a Bowie fan? The future looks bright. -
Welcome to the forum @fruitsbar. I try to stay on older versions for the mods, but I just can't resist wanting to play with the shiny new stuff we get with every update.

I'm in Australia so good lunch to you.

I think it's a job well done - Great work. I am too scared to try landing without parachutes!

My personal opinion is that I think (or hope) we will find traces of microbial life in our solar system. The last decade has seen an explosion of research into bio mimicry. Finding primitive life forms (possibly now extinct) that evolved on other worlds will most certainly lead to innovation in that field of science. Edit: A find like this may also have profound implications for medicine, genetic manipulation of crops, fuel producing algae and many other applications.

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
James Kerman replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Welcome to the forum @vitus0301. Mod makers perform great deeds in their own free time to bring new and wonderful features to KSP. Most of the members know your pain. It's hard to have to wait until our favourite mods are updated but please be patient as asking a mod maker for an update is contrary to rule 2.2p of the KSP community guidelines.- 7,349 replies
