  1. Milgard Kerman: died 5-16-2018.

Attempted flyby (foolishly approved by mission control, who thought that the crew would find the action amusing) of the lander after jumping off Anomaly Number 1. Subsequently proved why she was a scientist and not a pilot.

At least she proved that the Mun’s surface is as unforgiving as we thought in the process.

Was found in the astronaut complex by the time the rest of the crew returned.

  2. 1. Use spaceplanes whenever possible. Most of the time space shuttles

    2. Actually complete the missions. I have a bad habit of not following this one.

    3. Don’t kill Kerbals. This one sadly is broken on my latest save, which had a kerbal who was fooling around on the Mun with a jet pack lithobrake rapidly. Appropriately, she was not a pilot.

    4. All Kerbals shall avoid Eve and Jool’s atmospheres. Only unmanned probes are allowed there

That is awesome, but it makes me think: How long until some genius figures away to turn keyboard keys into tiny LED/LCD screens, or some other way to change the appearance of the key to reflect what function it will perform in a given program. One application would be to make it look like that picture, another would change the label on each key when, say, ctrl is pressed. Every game or app could change the keys to show its function.

I know this could be done by turning the keyboard in to a big touchscreen, but some people like to touch-type, while others like the tactile feedback of pressing a key. I know some modern touchscreens can guve tactile feedback...

There are some keyboards that have keys that do that! I don’t think there’s any that do the whole keyboard though. That would definitely be awesome

How's this thread been going? Reading back a few posts, seems like station is updated to 1.4.3 officially? I'm just going through and updating my KSP & mod setup, thinking about getting back into the game.

I'll check the module list and maybe take a turn soon?

    Me too?

It’s updated to 1.4.1. When either of you are ready, go ahead and take your turn.

I definatly need to check in here more often.

@53miner53 You've probably noticed, but the images for the custom badges made by @HerrCrazi don't seem to be working any longer. The images are no longer available on hostingpics.net.

Not sure if you want to take those off the main thread, or maybe HerrCrazi can update those somewhere like Imgur?

Oh, l’ll remove them then. I honestly hadn’t noticed, thanks for pointing that out!

Then Jeb realized: They were already there in the future, so this mission was guaranteed to be a success. All of the rockets after this one might blow up, and Jeb and his friends could die tomorrow, but this first flight would be flawless. Knowing this, Jeb grinned, and he knew that he could enjoy his unique place in history: on top of a rocket.

Didn’t they change history on one of the previous flights, with Jeb changing the staging so that the parachute didn’t activate with the main engine?

For certain, Kenlie has pulled the trigger and the gun cannot be unfired.  "Growing up" has a lot of different meanings and can take many different paths. Which one, exactly, the Kerbals are now on...

...depends on what Kenlie aimed at ( if anything) and who or what (if anything) he hit.

I think he shot one of them in the arm or the leg. They wouldn’t be dead, only injured, and the Kerbals could put the kerbulus in the medical facility and bring them to the side of the Kerbals

  8. I started with orbit, then I went for landings on the Mun and Minmus, and then went and got the full game and messed around with space shuttles a lot. With those I figured out what an efficient gravity turn is like, docking came surprisingly easily, and I think I know almost by feel if a plane will be stable or not. Things that used to barely make orbit can now take 150+ tons to LKO or can take a rokomax 64 to escape velocity before using up the EFT. Still trying to get around to a minimum Δv mission by design instead of one mission that just happened to end up that way.
