[EMERGENCY] I just deleted a butt load of ships because I changed up my mods list

It should if it isn't too old.  The quicksaves are really just copies of persistence.sfs.

I always knew quicksaving every time I spawn a craft would come in handy. I just thought it would let me go back to the runway instead of whichever ship I happened to be crashing into the Mun

The best solution I have found for when this happens:

(Windows)

CTRL-Shift-ESC

End task.

(Mac)
Force quit. You can do this several ways, one is in the Apple menu, the other is by right clicking on KSP in the smartbar.

On other devices, I don't know how you'd do this, but there should be a way.

 

If you do this immediately, it won't have a chance to auto-save. You'll load from what you had last time you played. Just make sure all the mods are present.
