Where's all the spray paint graffiti?

Oh, wait, that's not NYC.  Silly me.

Subway looks really clean to me now, but I used to take the train into the city as a kid in the 1970s... man it was sketchy back then.

Broke: hooligans with spray paint

Woke: misguided officials

And yes, that WWII relief on Novokuznetskaya is supposed to be white.

Operation Barbarossa and Citadel

Hitler if only you were great at strategy

I've dug up grandpa's Mosin... just in case.

Unlike many other examples, Barbarossa and Zitadelle at least looked decent on paper, and had to be countered through massive battles of attrition, which is not exactly the highest form of strategy.

TFW your public transport system is a tourist destination in itself

Any PT system I'd happily come to it as a tourist.

Except for busses... unless it has some cool unusual stuff.

Well, you’ve got these relics:

They’re threatening to rebel and throw down the shackles of an overhead wire network:

Speaking of things electric...

It appears that Tesla 3 owners are finding a 40%+ reduction of range in cold weather.  Guess people have forgotten that batteries don't perform well in the cold.

I've noticed that with my cellphone battery. Would it be worth it to spend some of that Tesla battery power to warm the battery? I would also think they're eating up their range by warming the cabin. Bundle up and turn off those heated seats and steering wheels for maximum range!

I noticed butane lighters don't like to work when really cold either.

My wife is complaining that it's snowing all around the Greater Vancouver area except here in our corner of the Fraser Valley. I'm complaining about that because I don't want to drive 50 km to work in the snow tomorrow.

Well, those are trolleybusses, not just busses.

Why I hate busses is usually due to their complex network and routing. At least with trains, trams and/or trolleybusses I can be sure they have to follow a certain path.

Do you two ( @StrandedonEarth and @LordFerret) have Teslas?

No, but my cousin in NYC has one.  For him, it's a bit of a novelty, a toy.  He's mentioned the mad acceleration, and will not allow his wife to drive it.

The news about this shortfall is available via Google, if you're wondering.

Same... @ExpandDong... I worked from 5AM till 8PM yesterday... Today, I let myself sleep in for a solid 8 hours... Nope! I just got up, went back to bed another two, and then lazed the rest of my day away. Honestly, i went to the store with a  friend, just to make myself move. LOL

Requesting a clockworks bus, like the train in Siberia.
No electricity, just a spring inside.

Spoiler

A big recharging wheel is rotated on every stop by an extendable arm getting out from the box.

As well as taxi minivans which instead of petrol use the gas (the real gas, not the gasoline).

This trolleybus is named "trolleybus" because the bus kinda trolls: "Well, well, well. So, now try to steal my wires. Do you see them? Mwahaha."
