I got an idea today while landing on the Mun... Could you add the effect of your mod to the surfaces of non-atmosphereic bodies like the Mun or minmus?

What i mean is, Have the light travel like this...

Kerbol>Mun>Spacecraft So it would make the planet/moon glow with the reflected light from Kerbol? Of would this not be possible. So basically make light travel like it would in the kerbolverse

Incredible, beautiful, brilliant, should be stock, why didn't I know I couldn't live without it?

Thank you so very much for making this!

Edit GameData\PlanetShine\Plugins\PlanetShine.version and change the 0.25 references to 0.90. Works fine for me.

How do you do to edit this file?

How do you do to edit this file?

well there are two solutions first being Magic :P and second one, open the ".version" file with Notepad and edit the numbers and then save :)

Pretty sure that will just get rid off the warning from AVC.. Not fix it if it is not working.

and thats what is being talked about "how to remove the warning" not how to fix it...better read a few posts up :)

Thank you for the bug report, however I might not have the time to fix it until January. I will try to do it this weekend.

So just to check for posterity's sake, other than the compatibility warning nobody's actually found any bugs using this with the new version, right?

Works perfectly after I change "25" to "90" in the .version file. Such a great mod. It should be stock.

What exactly does the 'useVertex' config do? I'd assume it means vertex lighting, but what's the alternative if that's set to false?

The alternative to vertex light is per-pixel light (See "Render Mode" in Unity Light documentation, look at "Important" and "Not Important" modes).

Vertex light is faster, and looks good enough for PlanetShine in my opinion.

Per-pixel light is supposed to better looking and more performance intensive, it allows shader effects such as reflections (on metallic surfaces for example) or bump mapping.

Instead of tweaking the config file by hand, you should use the in-game config menu, which has better explanations :)

Hi, I can't seem to get the toolbar option to show up. Is there a separate plugin that I need for this?

hi, I'm having some trouble with this mod. I think it's conflicting with Distant Objects (1.4.2) and possibly EVE (v 7-4). I'm also running Astronomer's V3 BETA pack (I can't get Interestelalr to work, haven't tried with Oblivion). Mac OS 10.9.5

The darkside of Kerbin is all funky with a very obvious yellow cast to it. http://imgur.com/ye6nJmH

Anyone have an issue similar to this in the past? Know a good fix?

Thanks!

Thats a bug with EVE, not this mod, delete citylights.dll from your EVE folder.

Is it possible add mod planets using ModuleManager or at least without having to overwrite CelestialBodies.cfg?
