  1. I agree with most of your points, but there was the NASA redirect mission DLC in 2014 or 2015, which was free up until it got merged with the stock game.
  2. For the most played games in my library, roughly the same amount of playtime thus far that I've gotten from KSP. But like I said, the base price doesn't matter for my point; Even if I had to pay $40 to get KSP (which I'm pretty sure it costed less when I bought it), I would've still been happy to buy it. My point was simply that paid DLC does not belong in games that already cost money.
  3. Not sure what kind of games you're thinking of, because nearly every game in my Steam library costs <= $20 My point is less KSP's base cost though, and more of how paid DLC does not belong in games that already cost money. @Raptor9, I have $30+ in my Steam wallet, so I could buy it if I want to. I would just rather not spend it on DLC.
  4. I'm not out of luck, nor am I out of $15, because I still do not support, and won't buy, paid DLC on an already expensive game. I like Squad and all but I'm a bit worried about the direction it's heading in.
  5. Just a clarification, does this mean I'll get it for free if I've played before Apr. 2013? Or are us late 2013/2014 players out of luck? Also, this expansion pack kind of reminds me of the Galactic Adventures DLC for Spore.
  6. Especially for long-term missions and realism purposes, it would make sense for RTGs to have a lifespan instead of lasting forever. Besides, it just doesn't feel right and a bit OP to have a literally infinite electricity in the game.
  7. Ring collision is a bad idea. Like when Cassini flew through Saturn's rings, there is a pretty small chance of impact, and having thousands of independent asteroids making up the rings would probably break the game.
  8. I uploaded this remake of "This is SpaceX" if anyone's interested:
  9. I'm using the M4435 resource scanner in a polar orbit around Minmus. Everything seems to be fine, but there is no button to perform a resource scan. Am I missing something?
  10. i want to try copying one of my saves to an install of KSP that has RSS
  11. What are the atmosphere heights of Mars and Earth? I want to know before installing so I can move my satellites accordingly
  12. Just for fun, you can watch the Kesla Roadster orbit Kerbin here: Also, you're welcome to request a destination if you want, either through this thread or the livestream chat. I may consider launching the Roadster to Duna or another planet, without timewarp for extra realism
  13. While I agree that the mod makers should be paid or rewarded in some way, i already paid $40 for the full game and am not going to buy this expansion if it costs money.
  14. I uploaded this compilation of the highlights, landing + david bowie if anyone's interested:
  15. I know, I meant to say the telescope is in solar orbit by Moho
  16. How do I do this? I've tried to put a Sentinel around Moho several times but no matter how perfect I try to make the orbit, it says it's misaligned.
  17. Created a rough replica of the Voyager 1 space probe. I'm aware it's not 100% accurate, but I was trying to go for a happy-medium between functionality and looks, and like the Voyager probes, I mainly used gravitational assists (2 of Duna, 1 of Jool) to pick up speed. Might launch a second one too.
  18. Just interested in knowing. I have 33. Just to clarify, by 'active flights' I am including everything except untouched asteroids.
  19. IMO it's a little sad that people won't purchase a game simply because it looks 'old'
