  1. Deep space exploration vessels also has a part that works the same as the Magic Smoke part...
  2. Interstellar has solar sails, and this will help you navigate them.
  3. I'm pretty sure Real Effects did, i doubt if it still works though
  4. Thats fair enough, i was just thinking something a bit more aerodynamic would work a bit better when strapped underneath a wing. I guess i could play around with procedural parts for an alternative... Awesome, thanks heaps! i'll let you know of my results...
  5. That kinetic penetrator is awesome!!! although i don't really like that round monopropellant tank, i think it would look much better if it was a cylinder the same diameter as the penetrator. Can we get a download link?
  6. Raidernick made some, but never released them. When i asked him about a release date back in November 2014 he said they were a low priority for him, now that the thread is locked i doubt they will ever be released. But you could always send him a PM.... pics here and here, his response here
  7. Im not sure if it plots it on horizontal distance, but Telemachus would be your best bet. RasterPropMonitor also has an altitude graph, but that is definitely plotted against time.
  8. The LazTek SpaceX mod has them, and so does the Kerbonov Kn-2 mod
  9. Fengist is referring to D12 Aerotech not sure if it works on 1.0 though
  10. This space tug has retractable small nuclear engines that might interest you... http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/83364-WIP-NohArk-s-Pick-and-Pull-Space-Tug-DEV-0-4?p=1578274&viewfull=1#post1578274
  11. It can't be done while the craft is inactive - eventually the orientation will drift. the closest you can get to what you want is to use the RemoteTech computer. Select the your target in map view, then in the computer press the TGT button, followed by GRD +. This will orient your craft to prograde in relation to the target. When the craft becomes inactive this orientation will drift, but when it becomes active again it will automatically orient back to target prograde. ulitimately it doesn't matter, as the dish orientation isn't used to establish a connection. you could orient the craft to target retrograde - pointing it away from the target - and it will still connect. But to make it more realistic, i always keep my main dish orientated towards the target when the craft is idle. It's a shame the old RT1 animated dishes that tracked targets (like solar panels tracking the sun) aren't included anymore :'(
  12. Absolutely gorgeous, i can't wait. That blueish colour on the sides won't match any stock parts or mod packs though... solid grey/metal would look better. Would you consider releasing a version that has integrated realchutes like the docking nodes here, or would that be too far from the realism/scope of the project?
  13. i really hope you work it out, if not that plugin, maybe another animated one. The rest of the parts in this pack could be found or substituted from other mod packs, but no other mod has those sweet decouplers - they would make your mod unique and in my opinion a necessary download
  14. damn i forgot about the little sat and the probe! they were super awesome too. i tried the dishes in 0.25 and they didn't work. The textures were ok, but i'm not sure if there was another mod dependency that i needed for the animations to work. The original RemoteTech 1 thread was deleted so i couldn't confirm. i used the most recent version of RemoteTech 1 before they switched to RemoteTech 2. yeah if you can get it to work, definately PM me. Better still, upload it so others can enjoy it (not sure about the licensing though - once again, the original thread and it's licensing requirements have been deleted).
  15. If you can model the booster seperators i'll be interested, They are the the most unique part of the H-IIB, and the one part you have left out.
  16. The last pic definately has two foldable antennas from the old version of RemoteTech 1, they were removed when they changed to RemoteTech 2 (which was then renamed back to remoteTech 1). I have an old copy of RemoteTech 1 but unfortunately the antellas are no longer compatible with KSP as the deployment animations and tracking don't work. It sucks, they were the best antennas because they could track planets and crafts, like how solar panels track the sun. I have no idea why they would update RemoteTech and not include them. If you have a copy of them that works with the latest version of KSP, i am very very interested
  17. You've answered your own question. what do you think Eeloo and Dres are?
  18. With KW, it seems silly to me that they did the tanks correctly, but the engines still have tankbutts personally i think all tanks should have curved insides exposed at the ends. Even if you don't see them on an intact rocket or jettisoned stage, you will see them if the rocket explodes and they become debris. It's far better than seeing an ugly flat cylinder end...
  19. i installed a new 0.90 blank game + astronomer's interstellar. The sun is soft to the touch from here. http://imgur.com/a/bEMyN i hope this gets fixed soon, it was fun for 10mins but got annoying rather quickly.
  20. There are a couple of SLS mod packs currently under development. Google is your friend.
  21. you can do that with fasa launch towers. The tower and umbilical also reaches much further than stock launch clamps.
