I say no. Space stations are huge.

not really this si the Mir biggest part comapred to a human. if you compare the updated screen the size more fits a kerbal now based on the pod.
Other advantages:
TKS VA will be 1 meter.
Will be scaled to Soyuz mod by Xermit.
Will be small enoguh to fit peices inside most mods Fairings.
Will be light enough to launch with average sized rockets.

I too wonder of these things. but when docking is added this part will be ready i would hope all the stuff you are concerned about is added and editable

what do you mean? if he adds docking i will make it able t dockAre you guys at all sure that these parts will be docking capable in the future?
Model wise there is no reason a real one could not be made and docked.

Hopefully yes. that is the plan. It is mainly for modders who want to Come up with Docking modules for there stuff before they actually can do anything. There is room in the UV map area for extra pieces to be added to the model if a Modder wants to do so.Sooo its a docking module you can download but doesn\'t do anything but in the future will

This part is the Androgynous Kerbal Craft Dockur System and it should work well for Docking with itself rotated at 180 degrees on the X axis.
The United Unified Inter-Manufacturer Alliance is a series of competing space technology corporations which got together in order to develop and use the same Docking parts in order to develop a de-facto standard among space craft docking and promote kerbal harmony and inter changeability in space craft.
It should be used for your docking modules if you plan to make them. As you can see Below several mods are supposed to use this model for docking in the future. However it is not a complete model. It is merely the part that will link to another. So say you have a Soyuz like craft and you want to have it fit UUI Docking Ring. Well then you simply take this model. open it. Attach it to your Soyuz habitation Model. There is room left in the UV area for other parts. Then Tada you have yourself a model that matches other mods\' docking modules.

Yeah That was the idea. I am not sure if i want to have them include tapers or have thpose be seperate form the common sizes. Also, how many of each Common sizes :/ each mir part looks differnet.

This seems slowed? If he doesn\'t beat me to it i will be making a TKS. i have a very basic model of one already for the Russian parts back. But that will come after the station modules themselves.

K I think I got most of them?
Thanks To Segas work I made the basics shapes and i think i have determined the Desired Details. Those weird things on the outside of most of them i think i will be making separate pieces for added personal customization. What do you think?

well While i am thinking of what to do I cranked out some basic veyr basic things that will eventually be carved up based on Segas stuff. (used it as a negative to mold them changed some things i felt looked a bit off by importing images of the things.
Salyut 1 & 4 and Alamaz.
I am starting to lean towards the idea of cutting them into various peoces and letting the user arrange them as they wish. however i am not sure yet. i have to decide. But in thsi way the user could make mir or Salyut. or somethign completely different but all lok the same.

it is ahrdly real scale. just large:) as it should beLift an entire kerbal-scale saturn V into orbit with a real-scale version of the F-2X!

F-2x engine needs something to push into orbit. It is as powerful as 8.1 failcan 9 engines and uses just as much fuel

actually it si 3.4m radius. it is rather wide. The Dragon capsule is actually wider than the rocket itself. it is not small.

also, people complain about failcan not being 1 meter in diameter. i think it is just perfect size wise.

BTW awesome footage You can see how well the pump exhaust gas constants the Combustion f the fuels. It even holds it a few feet after the end of the nozzle. Pretty awesome

Sorry. Couldn\'t help you there. I just get a bunch of pictures and use mt Aspergers Analyitical Gift/Curse to break it into required details :/
For example that is a fusion of Merlin Chamber, F-1a Oxidizer/Fuel Tubing paths, and a J-2 Exhaust and turbine setup.
SoI just sat and looked at pictures and adjusted the model until i felt it looked similar enough but with my own ideas for it.

Nozzle Extension
Exhaust Gas Thermal Barrier Extrusion Vents

I ma texturing it now thanks. as for the Soviet stuff pack. i don;t know how long that will take. SS wants it out at feb th but i don;t think he knows how hard modelling is

I have updated the pack to fix a small bug with the game portable part. also included the MIR parts. This includes the NODE and the 0.5 Adapted Ring (for anyone that wants to slap it atop a Soyuz or something/.
