  1. I hear you. A full blown Thermodynamic Simulator is not my cup of tea. So this mod may be what I'm looking for now that Near Future has moved too far out of the stock-alike/fun-to-play sweet spot.
  2. A recommendation for newcomers: The newest version of of NF Electrical requires a mod called SystemHeat. Unfortunately, this modded heating system turns the game into a thermodynamics simulator, which I don't find to be that fun. Luckily version 1.2.3 works great with the newest version of KSP. So if you find yourself in the same boat as me, just downgrade to version 1.2.3
  3. After reading the whole article I see that and am impressed with their approach.
  4. The complications of advanced thermodynamics don't add to fun, sales or new player adoption. But can add to complexity, lagging performance, and development time. Thanks for considering user stories and keeping some things simple in favor of playability!
  5. @samamstar Oh I see! That's cool! I was hoping it would help with this problem:
  6. @samamstarI had just tried that with no success. Any tips to make the sloping fairing occur?
  7. Made it to the Mun and back! Lots of bugs on the way, but over all I'm impressed and can't wait to see KSP 2 mature! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1747868301 https://imgur.com/gallery/ZtsnZRp
  8. So awesome to have SPACEDOCK supporting KSP 2! Thanks so much to Vitas, contributors, donators and modders who make Kerbal Space Program the best modding community on the internet!
  9. Working pretty well actually. So much more responsive than KSP1.
  10. Got my settings set to Medium. Running a 1660 Super. Here's to everything working great!
  11. Downloaded and unzipped. Let's see if it works!! I've got a CPU over the specs, and a 1600 Super (under spec).
  12. Is there a way to disable the stock alarm clock so I can focus on this beautiful mod instead?
  13. Fun! This was my very first dip into modding in 2014. Goodspeed was the introduction of what we know today as TweakScale. What parts are you excited to revive?
