  1. It depends on how much you enjoy grinding science VS enjoy sandbox game play. I commonly turn science up to 150% or 200%. This allows me to have some of the career features without the same old science grind.
  2. "I use a few mods, but only a few... But hey this one looks cool. Oh, I need that one too.."
  3. Right.... I assumed that was a given. They probably don't call it Wikipedia either.
  4. I share this theory. It is highly possible that all of intelligent races out there have developed Faster-Than-Light communications. Imagine a galaxy wide internet that aliens share across the galaxy. Maybe a galactic wikipedia with a small entry about an emerging intelligent species called humans.
  5. 8/10 What is that, it kinda looks like Absol Edit: 10/10 Oh, I guess Mega-Absol is a thing now. Not sure about this whole Pokemon evolving into Digimon thing.
  6. I think it is very simple. We have not yet invented the faster-than-light communication technology that all of the cool kids use in the galaxy. Once we do that, we may just find a new galaxy wide network at our finger tips.
  7. Twitter, Forums, Facebook I think those who complain about bits of information popping up in different locations are just being silly. If you are a casual player, then wait for the official announcements which always make it here to the forums. If you are a crazy KSP fan, then you can stock KSP employee social media feeds and piece together little hints of information. If you are somewhere in between, you can read the crazy's forum posts dedicated to summarizing hints of information they found while stocking social media.
  8. I keep my Launchers saved Sub-assembly's. Usually named after a real world celestial body. Give it a roman numeral, and suffix it with the weight it can get into 120km orbit. Example Ganymede V - 190T Titan III - 70T The celestial body indicates the rocket family. The roman numeral represents the configuration (I = no boosters, II = solid boosters, III = liquid boosters, V = boosters the same size as the core stage.) In the description of the subassembly I'll keep notes such as: recommended launch profile, and d/v remaining in orbit..
  9. B.S. (Deans List) - Aviation: Professional Pilot - Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah
  10. Was just thinking it would be really cool if CKAN could copy a list of installed mods to the Clipboard. Even better if it was formatted with hyperlinks to the mods forum threads. This would be a great way to share what mods you use with other players.
  11. Just finished a mission to Duna using Lithobrake Technologies. I love the 4 man capsule and the 3 kerbal lander can. It allows me to leave one pilot in orbit while bringing one of each specialist down to the surface (Pilot, Engineer, and Scientist). Thanks for the Mod!
  12. @PartCatalog, I still think about you often. Missing you, -JedTech
  13. I'd like to see more space exploration parts: Better landing modules (not just cans), habitat modules, thrust plates, longer ladders, longer landing legs, service modules. And then I would appreciate a art pass or revamp of all of the older fuel tanks.
  14. I would be disappointed if Water was not important in the stock game. One of the main things we hope to find in our exploration of the solar system is Water. I suggest a LS feature that requires "Supplies", "Water", and "Electricity".
  15. No one has ever been to Dres. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.
  16. I think Maxmaps just enjoys a fan following on his personal twitter account.
  17. I'm hoping that they don't release 32-bit versions. Let's just dive all-in and get everything working on 64-bit. Otherwise I fear that it will be a repeat of last time: "Yay 64 bit" "Oh poop, 32-bit works better" "We'll just use 32-bit until they get that fixed"
  18. For me, the hardest thing to do is to keep playing after finishing the tech tree and having returned from every planet.
  19. Since they are releasing this as a mod, I am stating my opinion as if the asteroid pack is just another mod. While I appreciate all modders contributions, I do not install all mods I run across. I have certain criteria that I like mods to meet before I will consider installing them. I am disappointed that squad's asteroid pack mod does not meet my criteria, but hey that's ok, I don't have to install it.
  20. Mod doesn't use Kerbal Stuff or CKAN Mod still using .png Modder has not updated past mods to be compatible with new versions of KSP. Official or not, this mod does not meet my standards. Thank you for your community contribution, but this mod is not for me.
  21. @Diazo, have you ever considered making an Action Groups Light/Limited mod? AGX has grown quite extensively. I am imagining an AGX-like interface, only simplified to just allowing me edit stock action groups while in flight.
  22. I think this mentality is flawed, and it seems that squad shares it. Why let a QA team spend weeks or months and lots of $$$$ when the community can test and duplicate problems much faster than a QA team. Just release and then release again if you have to. What is with all of this hotfix phobia? 1 week < 1 month.
  23. Wow! I think you have just discovered exactly why 1.0 was so rushed.
